 I was on twitter a few days ago (but lets get real, I'm ALWAYS on it ...) and the lovely Olivia from Wait Until The Sunset had posted an outfit involving one of her many loved Band Tee's and was wondering whether her look with them was too 'tough' and how could she make it more feminine. I suggested teaming it with florals as this is what I do with the majority of my cool band tee's. Now I'm sure you all know by now I'm a lover of in some opinions rubbish pop music meaning I have a large number of tee's from pop concerts so instead of showing you my Jonas Brothers and One Direction numbers (these are strictly pj tops and are never seen in public!) or even my number of McFly ones which have actually in the past happily been worn in public, granted most recently while I was on the way to one of there gigs. I thought I'd show you one of my all time favourite band tee's and how I tend to style it.

This is a Kaiser Chiefs Tee from the tour for the second album "Yours Truly Angry Mob". It is very much loved so has probably seen better days, I've actually had this since I was 13, so that's six years not bad going for a top! In the last few years I always tend to pair my tour shirts with these cute floral culottes, I know their not technically a skirt, but they look like one! I can dress these up or down and have surprisingly been a very versatile piece in my wardrobe. The belt has now been featured on here a number of times as I just love pairing it with everything specially florals as it keeps that rocky edge and also finished the look off without being too much. Now the blazer is to die for, in fact it will be getting a post of its own for a review very soon but lets just say I'm so in love with it, perfect beyond words! For my make up I was actually getting ready to go out, so I had a sparkly lid with some smudged black liner along my upper lash line for some definition with lashing of mascara and some colour on my lips to compliment the flowers on the culottes.

As it's winter here and dark by 4pm the majority of my pictures seem to be getting taken at night (if I get chance at all lately!) But I actually quite like how the pictures turn out, I hope you don't mind! Also if you haven't checked out Olivia's blog then it's a must she is one of my fave bloggers and her pictures always make me smile because she has such a lovely smile! She's also from Australia, how amazing is it that we get to chat like old friends yet we're basically on the other side of the world to each other, sometimes you just gotta love the Internet!

Ed Sheeran...

If you've been reading my blog long enough you'll know that I have an undying love for Ed Sheeran. I saw him for the first time back in January and blogged about it here where I was lucky enough to actually meet him, this time round I wasn't so much... Though waiting for two hours in the freezing cold with bottles of adnams broadside as a present (so he'd obviously fall in love with me, duh?) was deffinitly an experience I'm not eager to repeat. Just in case you were wondering he didn't actually come out in the end anyway I'll shut up about the negatives.

As always it was one of the best gigs ever! I took my brother well I say take... I actually made him buy the tickets in the first place! It was his first time seeing Ed perform so I was just excited that he hadn't actually seen the band before me like he normally has. The support acts were also pretty decent though I preferred Passenger out of the two he was so funny and well just adorable, I'm planning to try and go to his solo tour in January! Unlike most gigs I often go to where they have you waiting for ages between each support and then for the main act We had Ed on stage being of course amazing within and hour and he did 2 full hours with all his + album as well as a few old tracks though in my opinion not enough I LOVE HIS OLD(ISH) MUSIC and I love when I see people with ed painted on there face not knowing the words because they only know the "popular" tacks. Yes I'm one of those fans who is remotely smug and awful over such things, I'm sorry I can't help it!

I'll say now what I've said before if you ever get the opportunity to see Ed Sheeran DO IT. You will never be disappointed (unless you wait in the rain and cold to try and meet him) and he truly puts his all into every show and is generally amazing live. I do realise I'm bias because I also have a pretty big crush on him!

Cassius it's over you're second best.

This is what I wore last night to my brothers "Through the Grapevine" night which happens at a local cafe/bar. We had a live act performing for the first time and they were pretty awesome and just my type of music and not to painful to look at and that always helps! I'll hopefully get some pictures up of them performing soon so you can see for yourselves.

Overall I tend to always choose comfort over style because well I was standing up most of the night as I'm normally on the door as I know all the underagers and you don't mess with me! So like usual I'm sporting my trusty leggings which I can't live without I wear them under everything! In fact is it wrong to say I feel naked without them on? Though I wanted to also wear my new flatforms which you saw in my previous outfit post and I am currently obsessed with so by the end of the night they were pinching on my toes a little but other than that there pretty damn comfy. The Blouse I've had for years but never really worn but I love how it looks over the dress, which I've been layering under a number of jumpers and tops just so the collar is seen. I added detail with the necklace which was from my Primark haul last week. Its perfect for under collars to create a bit more interest and style to the finished look.

These were taken at the end of the night so my make up and hair was more gruesome than groomed. I wore a pink/red lipliner with balm over to create a coloured stain on my lips and fully did my face as generally I only use concealer and powder but yesterday I bought some decent make up brushes in the hope that by using them my skin may improve or at the very least my foundation (when I wear it) looks better. I'd also bought new foundation that day and blusher unfortunately the foundation is a little darker than what I'm used to, but probably works better for my slightly sunned face. I'm also yet again in need of a hair cut but thankfully not because my ombre has gone horrid and dry again, I'm so happy at how soft it is I'm thinking of doing a post on what I use would anyone want to read it? Oh finally incase you were wondering where my title came from my brother played the foals last night and its been stuck in my head since!

Rizzle Kicks.

I just thought I'd show you what I got up to on Friday night, which was of course see Rizzle Kicks at the O2 Academy in Leicester. It was all very last minute as in we got the tickets 5 minutes before we left for the gig and missed the support acts but its was so much fun anyway! I have to say I may be a little bit in love with these lovely boys now, I actually saw them (to look at not perform) the day before while I was wandering around London with my friend after the event I attended, which I will be doing a post about very soon! Jordan and Harley were shooting something for someone (can you tell how clued up I am?) at Piccadilly Circus so I casually stood in the background of the shot fangirling badly.

Anyway I basically wanted to say how good they were live and how hilarious they actually are, there dancing is utterly epic and there was so much energy on stage they clearly have a great time with there band and performing. I've also never seen a whole room dance quite as much as we all did when they started doing "doin the hump" lets just say I did have a little wiggle around to the music, how could I not it was so addictive once everyone started! So all in all such a good night!

Does anyone else find things ten times more exciting when there really spur of the moment, because I do!

Kassidy.

Just some pictures of what I wore to a gig tonight and 2 sneaky instagram pictures of the support and headline band ( thanks to Nic for these, I borrowed them off her!) The band I went to see at the Sound House were Kassidy and I am seriously impressed! There Scottish and all there songs are just brilliant, they also all have hair at least to there shoulders if not longer, my fave is the blonde haired one and there roadie who's ginger and they have nicknamed ginger ninja (honestly its his twitter name!)

I posted a couple of snaps of what I was wearing on my twit pic with my web cam and to be honest I think I prefer those pictures but here are some I took when I got in hence the slightly disheveled face! So my outfit was pretty plain so jewelry or anything I just didn't fancy getting to fussy I wanted to be comfortable but still interesting. So I wore this amazing shirt from Asos which I love to bits! It's so easy to wear and is such an amazing print the only downside being it creases so easily! Now the skirt is from Matalan I picked it up as a good basic but have slightly fallen in love, it's the perfect jersey skirt! The pockets are deep enough for your hands and stuff to actually fit in, short enough without making me fully flash my knickers and it sits really nicely on my body, the fact it only cost a fiver is just a bonus really! I just finished the outfit off with Primark flats, tights and a vintage bag from a charity shop.

My hair and makeup were even behaving tonight so I felt really good going out for a change! I just finished with some lip stain because I knew I'd probably have a pint and didn't bother with eyeliner because I knew I'd be wearing my glasses! I'm off home tomorrow (or today depending that date it says when I post this!) in the evening I have a massive party for an old family friend so I'll make sure I get a snap of my outfit as its a dress occasion.

Keep Calm and Play Louder.

I don't want to write pages and pages about this (though I could very easily!) On Saturday night went to the 02 Apollo in Manchester to see my all time favourite band, McFly I haven't missed a tour since I was 13 and I've loved them since I was ten, which was when they first started almost 9 years which is crazy!

For all the tour dates but one I've been with my friend Mary (who is the main person in the bottom picture with me, please ignore Elly jumping in, haha!) Last tour we ended up on second row then somehow jumped to right in front of Tom Fletcher, which was amazing. This time round the 4 of us ( Elly, Mary, me and Mary's friend from uni Eilidh) we somehow ended up behind friends and family meaning we were surround by the boys really fit girlfriends (how depressing) and Antony Cotton which was brilliant though I fear I deafened him by the end!

further down the row in front of Mary was James Michael who was on XFactor... we first bumped into him as soon as we walked in and I grabbed him because it was Mary's 19th and she wanted a pictures (more like I did) next think we know hes grabbing us and mushing his face into my cheek for a picture and going on about how cool it is to come to McFly on your birthday! Then the best thing happened he sang Happy Birthday to Mary and it wasn't the best I've ever heard him we were all in fits of laughter!

Now I'm going to finish with I heard 3 of McFlys new songs and they are AMAZING I'd forgotten how much I loved them and how insane they are live! Even if your not a massive fan of them you will like these songs, Fangirl for life.

Ombre.

Step 1, step 2, step 3....Finished outcome!!!

Yes guys I finally did it! I ombre'd my hair, I know I've been going on about doing it since the summer and even bought the bleach then but kept on chickening out when it came to actually putting the bleach on my hair, I was terrified I'd ruin it and end up ruining my hair, but I eventually bit the bullet and this is how it turned out, not bad for my first ever attempt!

I posted up the pictures of my process on my twitter while I was doing, mostly just for you all to giggle at! My methods are probably not right especially as I'd lost the actual instructions but regardless this worked for me. I also made a 4 part video set on doing my ombre hair there a little shoddy and a mess but no ones perfect right? I'll get them up on my YouTube as soon as and post the links on here to accompany the post! I think one thing to remember is that you shouldn't be scared of trying this yourself as I'm perfectly happy with this and the bleach cost me under 4 quid and I dread to think how much it would cost me to get it done at the hairdressers!

Tonight I'm heading off to see Mcfly and yes I am very excited! It's also one of my dearest friends birthdays who I'm going with which means only one thing loads of banners and me telling everyone its her birthday! I won't be wearing anything of height fashiony credentials but I might do a cheeky little post on it all anyway for a laugh!

Ed Sheeran.

On Friday I went into Manchester to see the seriously amazing Ed Sheeran and was lucky enough to meet him at the end after freezing my arse off for well over an hour. He even took my business card and said " I do my own styling but that's cool" referring to my business card his manager offered to take it off him but he said he'd put it in his pocket and I watched him do so. Then me and my lovely friend Amy got a picture with him, utterly perfect even more so with his adorable jam jar glasses (jam jar meaning there pretty strong lenses).

Now yes I was basically at the back (we were standing behind the sound desk) meaning I spent half the night staring at the securities chest, he was lovely and called Richard Cullen and was a first year student doing some form of accounting, new friend for life right there I also later got told in the loos by a girl that he and I quote "well fancied me" brilliant. But in all honestly this was one of the best gigs I've ever been to and I feel all emotional thinking about it as since September its all I've listened to meaning sometimes its the only thing that's got me through moving to uni etc. Next time I am going to try even harder into blagging myself onto the guest area... because its the balcony so I would actually be able to see the whole of insanely wonderful Ed instead of just flashes of his beautiful ginger hair.
