Here's my second piece the lovely people over at Curvissa sent me forever ago to style up! As soon as

I saw this I knew it'd be perfect for the summer to dress up or down and also help keep me cool when the temperature was insane. It's something I also thought would be perfect to wear to work, comfortable to sit in all day at my desk but not crease easily. I adore the print of this as it's still quite tribal stylised but a little more classic and smart, particularly with the repeated diamond pattern. It's also a colour and cut I feel good in. It doesn't cling to my stomach or badly in any other places and the subtle hit of colour throughout helps me break my dark coloured cycle slightly. I have no problems with the sizing or stitching from what I can see! 

Here I'm wearing a size 20 and it fits like a dream for me personally, loose on my arms with the bat wing style to help me keep a little more cool without flashing my pasty top of my arms!

I kept the finished look quite simply with the chunky necklace from Dorothy Perkins which I picked up in the sale, some ancient peep toe flats which have certainly seen better days but I just love to much to throw away and yet again my new Vintage Clutch I picked up in the charity shop. I can see this appearing in a lot of outfit posts in the future as I just adore the embossed pattern on the outside of the leather, well at least I think it's leather! All I changed make up wise for this was a slightly stronger coloured lip to bring the colour of the dress up and out more to my face (if that makes any sense) I'm wearing a slick of Rimmel Apocolips in Stellar, which I love the intense colours of but do find them a bit much on my lips over time and tend to feather and bleed with repeated application on top of another, but I find them wonderful for giving a colourful and glossy finish to my lips so I put up with it!

Tribal Prints.

The lovely people over at Curvissa sent me a little package quite sometime ago and I've only just got the chance to post about the pieces! Unfortunately as per usual life got in the way a little bit yet again so some parts of my blogging life had to take a back seat for awhile but hopefully I'll be posting less sporadically as soon as possible, well until my laptop has to be taken in again for some TLC anyway! 

These trousers aren't something I'd normally choose to wear which is why I decided to give them a go as I'm trying to step out of my comfort zone a bit more and these were a perfect first step! I tend to shy away when it comes to trousers or bottoms as due to being pretty short they're either way to long or due to my body proportions just don't look right on me! Here I'm wearing a size 18 in the shortest length they do, yes you heard me right they have length options which is rare and extremely wonderful! My only main issue with these is I feel joining of the two legs (ie the crotch) is sewn quite funny in a way it pulls slightly so wearing an oversized tee has hidden this little niggle for me, though I'm almost certain the only reason I noticed this is because I'm used to working with fabrics and utterly detest doing pants as crotches are so hard to do and I've become quite picky when it comes to them. Another thing is that Curvissa sizing can be a little confusing, just like most Plus Size companies really. I've tried a range of sizes from them and depending on the fabric and cut this determines what size I am in the item, just something to keep in mind! 

I kept the rest of the outfit quite simple so the bottoms were the main focal point. I paired them with my new clutch I picked up in a charity shop on holiday (which I'll show you in more detail soon as I have lots of bits and bobs to show you from then) and this cute and quirky ear cuff from Primark. FFF - "We go from green to blue to gold to black"

It's time yet again for another Fat Fabulous Four challenge and this time were taking on stripes, which are a firm favourite in my wardrobe! When I'm out shopping they're something I'm naturally drawn to and always pick up. I know some people would say that stripes aren't very flattering on a plus size figure but in all honestly I couldn't care less I love wearing them and that's all that matters! This dress is a midi dress from Matalan but I've altered it as being a short arse means they're far to long on me as they are and I prefer a higher hemline so I can wear them with leggings. Denim jacket from one of my firm favourite stores M&Co, so often my friends don't believe me when I say what I'm wearings from there. I think sometimes people think it's somewhere mothers or grandmothers shop at when in reality they have some adorable vintage inspired and trend lead pieces. 

Some of my accessories are from good old Peacocks, I simply adore this belt I picked it up last weekend. The colours and easy feel to it make it perfect for this summer, it also matches my super old and battered flats also from Peacocks. I found this really cute box bag in an adorable vintage styled shop in my hometown, I've walked past and looked in the window so many times but never actually been in until today and lets just say I could buy the whole place out, it's so pretty and surprisingly for that kind of thing really well priced. I finally finished the look with my usual red lipstick and crontic bitch face!

Polka Dots, Retro Bag and Red Lips.

Just a quick outfit post to prove I am still alive and actually wearing clothes! I'm so sorry its taken me so long to get a half decent post up but here it is now finally! I'm also showcasing a new dress and bag, I feel as if I may actually be ready for spring and summer now judging by this outfit. If I'm totally honest this is about as summer as I'll probably get other than maybe some Jelly Sandals and pastel coloured socks (YES I love that trend!)

I adore my Lipstick in these pictures and I'm dedicating a WHOLE post to it soon enough well in fact I already have the pictures to do it! But I'll just mention now that its a Rockalily in Hot Rod Red and its just the perfect formula, I AM IN LOVE.

Right tonight I am off to an Indie Soul night in my local town which is ran by my brother and his lovely mate they also have a blog which sooner or later I shall be doing a few guest posts on. Though its probably not right that I'm getting ready by drinking wine out of a Harry Potter mug and listening to Justin Bieber?!

Simply Be Lace Dress.

Finally getting this post up I've had this dress since before Christmas but everything just got a little crazy and I never got round to wearing it for anything and didn't want to just take a picture of me wearing it in my halls! My brother took these photos for me before we left for a party last Friday! Where I ended up getting a little bit tipsy and talking my brother and another guy into coming to the pub not that they took much to get them to come!

Now this dress is utterly lovely I adore lace but can never find dresses that look right, they nearly always cling to my tummy but this one skims it nicely. I must confess it did not originally come with this slip under neath it but I wanted a whole black outfit so my belt stood out. I have to say though now looking back it looks better with the original slip so I'll wear that one day and show you! The lace is really soft and doesn't scratch at all (which I find happens with cheaper lace pieces) The only thing I thought when I first tried it on was that the arms are a little loose but that's probably for the best, comfort wise! I think you can really tell the quality of this when you wear it and it looks good with almost anything, I wore a charity shopped denim jacket over it on the way home as it was so cold!

I thought I'd be a little practical at the party so I wore my trusty leggings and not those heels! I just put them on for these photos, I don't think I would of lasted five minutes in those never mind five hours! These are the infamous heels I wore to Curves in Couture that nearly killed me, I'm definitely not a heels person but I can promise you that I will never learn this until its to late and I've broken my ankle in some stupid high ones! And on one last note I hope you all sincerely enjoy the picture of my face mid movement, proper Bieber fringe swish going on there as well!

Strawberries taste how lips do.

The title of this post relates to another ever so lovely song by Ed Sheeran called Little Bird really do YouTube it and have a listen! And yes here I am finally with and outfit post, which isn't exactly brilliant considering this my all time favourite skirt and at some point today the button popped off and I have no clue as to where it or the original is, looks like I'll be safety pinning it in the future.

Anyway on to what I'm wearing, the blouse and skirt are both from Dorothy Perkins and the skirt I've basically been wearing none stop since I bought it in June I'm hoping it'll keep me going well into the colder months! My cardigan is from a charity shop in my local town and has some really cute detailing embossed down the sides where the buttons and button holes are. The tights that are just seen are from Peacocks last year and I wore them from October right up until march and there still going strong as well as being pretty warm and comfy!

Time to talk about my minimal jewelry and make up. The necklace I bought recently from Primark and I've had lots of comments from people telling me how nice it is and whether it was vintage or not, so it must look more expensive than the pound it cost me, I also got some earrings which are the same style though I do not plan to wear them together! My lipstick is Kate Moss for Rimmel in 02 and its probably the brightest colour I own so I tend to keep the rest of my make up pretty bland so I don't look OTT. I'm also getting into nail art a lot more though all I can really do is dots right now but I'm happy with that.

Now I have found a remotely okay place within my room to take pictures I hope to get more up soon! Have any of your bought into the Kate Moss lipsticks?

The Gazebo.

This is in the gardens at Capesthorne Hall where the classic car show I went to on Sunday was in the grounds. My mum took these and isn't to great with a camera sometimes so I am sorry that they aren't amazing quality. I'm doing work experience all this week and haven't have time to think about much other than vintage (though lets be honest that's basically all i think about anyway...) I'm hoping to drag my brother and his fancy camera here soon so I can get some good shots as there is so many really pretty places to take photographs!

Now on to what I'm wearing, my mum actually found this dress at the back of one of the sale rails in peacocks and its only a size 18 so I was reluctant to try it but I'm so glad I did because it almost fits like a dream and is surprisingly comfortable! I think gem at Fat Frocks also has this dress if i recall and she looks lovely in it. And the price wasn't too shabby either at a tenner. My leggings are the usual from either Evans or Matalan I can't remember where. The shoes are from Peacocks and I'm in dire need of another pair before I ruin these I just love them so much and the socks were from Primark for 50 pence. I'm wearing my glasses because I was awfully tired and wanted to be able to see where I was going. I slept in plaits so my hair was wavy then just haphazardly stuck the headpiece I made on.

I can't wait to tell you all about my time at Vintage Life Magazine! I also go on holiday in a week and were hoping to get Internet there so I can still blog.

Bows and blossom branches.

Just thought I'd show you what I wear on a weekend or whenever if I'm totally honest. I'm not really feeling myself at the moment the thought of growing up is kind of terrifying me at the moment! I also took a lot of pictures for this but none seemed right so I ended up using the first picture I'd taken. But never mind I actually really like what I'm wearing and the main thing its pretty comfy.

So anyway on to what I wore, My top is from peacocks and was featured in one of my early Lookbook picture from last summer which you can see here. The leggings I'm wearing are from Matalan and are most definitely the most trusted pair I own. Early today Naomi from Diamonds 'n' Pearls tweeted about how see through some leggings are and I have to agree with her you don't want to know what the girl in front of yours knickers are like! I do own a pair like this though they weren't "cheap ones" the best I've found so far are from Matalan and just to verify (and believe me I've asked enough people) you cannot see my knickers through them. Cardigan is a old favourite and has been seen on the blog many times its from Dorothy Perkins. The ring I purchased last year from the Topshop sale for £2 and opens like a little locket which I think is really cute and I first wore in this post.

So the new things in this post are my lovely shoes which I bought from Primark for 6 pounds for my brothers graduation (I'll do a post on that soon) and the necklace which I found while I was out shopping with my cousin and mum. I bought it for £2 in Matalan and just genuinely really love it though I did have to put some extra chain on to make it a more comfortable length on me. My hair is kind of a mess one piece was clipped to the side then I just had my donut in (which didn't last very long as I felt it made my face look too big, I'm just having on of those days. To finish I was wearing my glasses (they are not a fashion statement as people seem to thing I do actually need them to see) and some red lipstick which you can't even really see because I had my head down! I changed my nails today so they are now coral and red I got inspiration from mademoiselle robot and I really love the outcome.
