Make Them Dye.

MAKE THEM DYE is a shirt collection of one of my friends from College and I thought these were so cool and the photographs just pretty awesome that I'd share them with you all!

There are four styles of Polo Shirt:- The Serpens Caput, Ursa Major, Mensa and finally my favourite of the collection the Draco. I think these would look brilliant with anything from skinny jeans to tucked into a midi skirt, as you can probably tell from my blog I love collard and the fully buttoned up style and I'm actually really tempted to get one and style it up so you could see how this would work on a plus size body and how I would work this.

At the moment these are the core pieces of the collection but my friend grace who creates these has more to add including Jumpers and snap backs. I've also been told that the next generation of this beautiful and original collection will also involve studs, we all know how much everyone loves them at the moment! How to be.

This is a little post about a film I tend to watch quite a lot, now if you have known me for awhile you'll know that I'm a little bit in love with Robert Pattinson though regardless if he was in this or not I'd still love it. This was before the whole Twilight shenanigan's (which you may also know I'm obsessed with... but not because robs in them may I point out!) when rob spent his time either gigging around London with the stage name Bobby Duprea or acting in indie or sometimes just plain weird films. But "How to be" is actually brilliant, now I will say this not everyone will get it or even find it funny it just depends if you like this sort of film.

But rob does sing in this... not at his usual level (which I will one day post for you as it leaves me with goosebumps) but its witty and odd all the same. And his two friends in this film are also awesome characters and all each of there own weirdness's bounce off each other! And yes that is an unfortunate haircut but I still would! The costumes in this also make me smile because well I know a few guys like this myself and it just makes me giggle, also some shots in this film are also beautiful done for something with so little a budget.

So all in all definitely worth a watch if your into slightly obscure indie flicks with interesting characters and even better outfits.

With some other guy that you knew before.

This is just a cheeky little post on behalf of my brother Sam and his mate. They runs a indie soul night at a bar in my hometown every so often (usually whenever most students are home) and this is his short promo video for it. My brother Sam shot this himself and the backing song is Kaiser chiefs cover of "I heard it through the grapevine" which I love and have been singing for the past day thanks to this video! (Sam is a Film and media graduate and also my blog photographer from time to time.)

I posted about the last one here and it was honestly so much fun, I had a really good time there is nothing like seriously good music and a really cool place to just hang out and drink cocktails (or in my case bottles of beer as they were the cheapest on promotion!) The night itself also has its own personalised cocktail "Rum and Ting" which towards the end of the evening I was calling bumting... that would of been the becks talking! So if your in the North West or even closer such as Cheshire get yourself down I'm sure it'll be a really good night!

Kill The Young.

I went to a little gig at my local pub on Saturday night there were lots of bands playing through out the day but I only went for Kill The Young a rather old friend plays for them at the moment and they've just come back from gigging for 3 months in France. One of the things I kind of love about them is that they can walk through my town high street and no one will bat an eyelid but in the past they've been chased by fans in France, which is insane but also amazing that they can just do whatever they want when there home. I know other musicians/well known people who aren't quite so lucky. But I won't go on and on about them now because this would then become a very wordy post, though I'm starting to listen to them a lot so I'm guessing a few posts will have titles related to there songs in the near future.

The first picture (if you can even see it properly) is of my friend Jake he took lead for one song. He's actually in another band called This Machine Is Off and I have to say I love this band, I've been to see them a number of times and tend to go to gigs when there supporting other bands also. The last time I watched them perform it was when they were supporting Kid British, I always find out about other really cool bands from just going to watch TMIO support and play. At the moment they haven't been doing much as Jake's been in France with Kill The Young but hopefully they'll come trickling back into the scene.
