Dress: c/o Navabi. Jacket: Simply Be. Clutch: H! by Henry Holland at Debenhams. Sunglasses: Specspost. Necklace: Black Heart Creatives.

Lately I feel like I start every blog post with an apology because I've been away too long or somethings been happening in my life which has just meant by the time I'm sitting in front of my laptop to write up my brain can't function. I'm hoping this is just a phase as I utterly adore my blog but due to lots of things happening in my life it's taken a back seat in the last few months and that is something I can only apologise for!

I was sent this dress by the fab team at Navabi to wear for my Final Year University review which was far too long ago now but I was offered an unconditional place there and then so clearly the dress is a lucky one! I'm wearing the equivalent of a UK20 here and it fits like an absolute dream! When I get pieces from Navabi I know that I'm not only getting a high quality garment but also you get to see the total care the company take in sending the items to their customers (or bloggers in this case) and this dress did not disappoint! This is a heavy weight lined dress which isn't ideal for the current hot weather but was perfect to wear in May and will be perfect to start wearing come Autumn.

As it is now summer and Navabi have some of the most amazing pieces on their site I'm planning on do a Currently Coveting feature on some of my favourite items! You will also shortly be able to see a video of this look over on my YouTube Channel!

The Rich is Back!

Wearing all Benefit on my face bar face powder, concealer and a red lip stain used to enhance the gloss.

This is part of my make up looks with the fabulous Limited Edition Matthew Williamson The Rich is Back Makeup Kit from Benefit. The lovelies who sent me this said create anything you like and as I'm very much still an amature when it comes to applying make up so this was certainly something different! Now if we were talking lipstick I could do that like a pro but generally speaking I never bother with my eyes as they're either covered by my glasses or my annoying thick hair. I was most excited for the mini mascara to arrive as  I've seen so much hype around the piece that I wanted to try one for myself! I wouldn't say it's life changing moment when I pop it on but it keeps my lashes dark and thick without it all smudging down the road in the rain after you've ran everywhere else too! My look is an alternative on the classic Cat Eye flick!

Step by Step:
1. Covered whole eye socket in disco dust, taking particular attention to the corner of my eyes.
2. Kept Solid Gold concentrated on my lid only to create the a shimmering effect when layered.
3. shaded with Get Down Brown and blended with some more Solid Gold
4. Put a cotton ball dipped into water and dampen the end of a fine eyeliner brush (mines from Real Techniques) and line eyes with a flick using Feel So Teal.
5. Lightly used Get Down Brown and Feel So Teal sparingly on my lower lash line.
6. Curled my lashes then used They're Real Mascara and used the tip for lower lashes.
7. I used a felt tip lip stain under the gloss to give a slightly more intense colour.
8. Finally used Gimme Fever lightly on cheeks and also on my brow bone to catch the light.

I'm no beauty whizz but I was super happy with how this look came out! And of course also loved this fab set! I've always been a fan of Benefit Cosmetics but always shied away from anything but there primers but this would be fabulous as a gift for some of my nearest and dearest as even though the colours aren't something I'd normally wear they're all set out to compliment each other beautifully! This was my first ever kind of beauty post so I'm still a little wobbly with my descriptions! This look was used in an upcoming outfit post and I'll be posting my second look shortly!

Colour Pop!

Men's Tee/Sunnies: Primark. Leggings: Matalan. Bagazine: H! by Henry Holland (eBay). Heels: Evans.

I'm afraid to say this is probably the closest I'll ever get to the Sports Luxe trend, though generally speaking I'll more than happily swap these heels for a pair of converse! I wore this a few weeks ago while it was really warm as this is my current go to look when the temperature climbs. I mean it keeps me cool and I'm comfortable so when the weather is at boiling point the last thing on my mind is if my outfit is flattering! I have a love of over sized mens tee's I tend to pick up the biggest most stores I go in sell and see if it's baggy enough to my liking, I think this is a XXL from primark men's. I tend to roll the sleeves up and this for some reason makes it look so much better!

The dip dye leggings just give it a cool edge and it's super subtle so often it goes unnoticed. The heels were something I bought and wore for my 6th form prom which you can see in the post below. I rarely wear them but when I do I find them surprisingly easy to walk in and not particularly uncomfortable like I tend to feel in every other type of heel! The bagazine is something I love dearly and my dad won for me on eBay after I lusted for so long in the shop over  but could never really afford for myself at the time. I adore the majority of Henry Hollands diffusion line for Debenhams but unfortunately I don't always fit in the collection, I do though own a few tee's from it which are quite roomy! These tied together with my bright pink lipstick and coloured sunglasses finish off an otherwise extremely basic outfit with the quirky and unique edge I always try to strive for with my fashion choices.

This is the kind of outfit you'll probably be seeing quite a lot of over the rest of the summer, do any of you shop in the Men's section or shops without caring what others think?

Elomi Launch.

Elomi Lingerie is now available in Debenhams stores! I took these pictures a week or so ago at the launch of them at the Manchester branch. It's brilliant that you can now be fitted and try these in store without the hassle of online ordering. The women who work in the section in Manchester are absolutely lovely and well worth travelling to if you really want to know what size you are. They were helpful without stalking you around the floor ans a pleasure to talk to.

You can also see that Elomi's model Alex was also bravely in a window for the day to model the range. I went outside to snap these briefly and some peoples reactions were brilliant! But like I said she was definitely brave I wouldn't have the balls to do it, she looked amazing in a deep turquoise set. My day was lovely I also got a full make over from Benefit which I have a few snaps of and will possibly eventually post up! On the floor next to Elomi Debenhams also sold Freya and a number of other brands I have heard of which also housed some truly beautiful lingerie. I don't want to ramble to much as this post is already pretty picture heavy but what I will say is I cannot wait to visit them again soon!

Read it? No Wear it.

Or as i (and many other fashion inspired people) like to call it. The Bagazine. I have seen many bags over time being inspired or replicating magazines but these have to be my resent favourites.

The top image was taken by me at The Gallery of Costume at Platt Hall last weekend. I have also seen spotted a similar styled bag by the same designer in Hooper's of wimslow. It is by Prima or Primo cannot (i read my quickly scribbled words very well, haha) but that is all i know. also if i am comparing it to the other bag pictured underneath the first image. It is a more structured bag with a clasp on the top unlike the other which is in a envelope style.
Now onto the second bag it is H! by Henry Holland for Designers at Debenhams. But this bag is no longer being sold in shops. This is my dream bag in fact at this very moment in time i am watching one on eBay which is new with tags for 6.99 (originally in the shops for £20.) i am desperate for one of these its kind of crazy but beautiful which i love. The clasp is a H which you twist to lock and open the bag it is purple cotton lined inside, and Henry's face is pictured "wrapped" around the bag in a magazine style.
I just wanted to show the difference in structure and styles within different markets because, yes Henry Holland is a designer but he is based more for the 16 to 25 age gap and the other bag i picture is more mature and structured due to muted tones and style and more suited to the 30's plus age range. But both are lovely, the Henry Holland Bagazine wins in my opinion and i cannot wait to get my hands on one.
