#DressUpWithGeorge - Part 1.

Dress: c/o George at Asda. Brooch: Blackheart Creatives. Shoes: Bait Footwear. Hair Flower: Claireabellas Closet.

When the lovelies over at George gave me the opportunity to style up one dress in three different ways I certainly jumped at the chance, I always love a challenge particularly when it involves pretty clothes. Originally I was going to put all the looks into one post but I've now decided to do this in three parts as I was really happy with the photos I've finally managed to take! This look was the last one I shot but I wanted to pop it up first as it's definitely my favourite! As you know from past posts I'm a little bit of a retro fan so when I saw that the dress came with the patent red belt I just knew I had to play to that and make it a little pin up inspired.

The top of this dress is actually a thick stretch jersey and the bottom is more like a cotton mix with no stretch. Its white and navy stripes which I think is fab in Spring/Summer as it can be less harsh as monochrome (though we all know I wear that ALL the time) I decided to style this with some matte red lips, I'm wearing one of the Loreal True Reds I believe. My cat eye glasses which are a firm favourite of mine to wear for events at work and my lovely red rose hair flower which I feel works with everything and absolutely love. On my feet I'm wearing an adorable pair of Bait shoes which I got through work and they look like heaven but hurt like hell. Maybe US sizing is different to the UK but these pinch my feet so badly which is such a shame as they are the pretty pair. I do have duck feet so maybe if you're feet aren't quite so wide you'd have no problem at all! I finished the look with my newest purchase from Blackheart Creatives which is this fab lipstick brooch, which is very similar to the custom necklace in my last post but once I saw it I just knew it had to be mine!

I hope you're looking forward to seeing my next two looks as much as I'm looking forward to showing you!

George have got so many fabulous dresses in at the moment that I just ordered myself these two this evening! You can see all their dresses here.

Dress/Leggings: Matalan. Denim Jacket: M&Co. Shoes/Belt: Peacocks. Box Bag: Vintage Style Boutique.

It's time yet again for another Fat Fabulous Four challenge and this time were taking on stripes, which are a firm favourite in my wardrobe! When I'm out shopping they're something I'm naturally drawn to and always pick up. I know some people would say that stripes aren't very flattering on a plus size figure but in all honestly I couldn't care less I love wearing them and that's all that matters! This dress is a midi dress from Matalan but I've altered it as being a short arse means they're far to long on me as they are and I prefer a higher hemline so I can wear them with leggings. Denim jacket from one of my firm favourite stores M&Co, so often my friends don't believe me when I say what I'm wearings from there. I think sometimes people think it's somewhere mothers or grandmothers shop at when in reality they have some adorable vintage inspired and trend lead pieces.

Some of my accessories are from good old Peacocks, I simply adore this belt I picked it up last weekend. The colours and easy feel to it make it perfect for this summer, it also matches my super old and battered flats also from Peacocks. I found this really cute box bag in an adorable vintage styled shop in my hometown, I've walked past and looked in the window so many times but never actually been in until today and lets just say I could buy the whole place out, it's so pretty and surprisingly for that kind of thing really well priced. I finally finished the look with my usual red lipstick and crontic bitch face!

Don't forget to check out the other ladies blogs to see how tackled the trend!...

These Pictures were taken while I was on holiday in Suffolk with my folks and brother. I want to keep this post short and sweet as I tend to end up rambling a lot more than I need to.

Skirt and top are from Dorothy Perkins, the skirt has hardly been off all summer it just works with everything. My leggings are from Matalan, socks and flower head piece (which I've only worn once and fall has basically fallen apart) are from Primark. Then finally my shoes are from Evans a couple of years ago.

Just want to add that I'm thinking of shaking my blog up a bit in terms of layout and what not, any thoughts?

Okay so this isn't the most exciting outfit in the world but it seems to be another staple of mine, which is stripes. I will always automatically gravitate towards them when I'm shopping just ask my friend I'll go up to a top in a store and be like "ohh I like this!" her answer will then be "it is because its got stripes on?" I don't know if this makes me predictable or just boring but I will alwats wear stripes. I know people used to often say fatter people shouldn't wear stripes as they make you look wider? well personally I think that is total bollocks.

This kind of look is what I will generally wear for college or just on a day to day basis,I wore this to college on Thursday and yes here our my jeggings from New Look making a second appearance, if anything as much as I love how they look now I will be forever pulling them up.
The tunic top is really old and was from New Look when I was about 12 or 13? But I wear it all the time even though its slowly becoming a little worn and holey. My cardigans from Dorothy Perkins I also own the same one in black and royal blue. The shoes you met in my post a few days ago, I'm just getting used to wearing them again after my other pair went to shoe heaven. My necklace is also from Evans and was purchased in the sale, I love how it just has a lovely vintage look.

Now you may notice I'm wearing glasses again in this outfit post, these are actually my new pair and when I first put them on I wasn't sure but they've definitely grown on me and now I love wearing them, which is a good job as I'm supposed to have them on all the time. These are from Gok Wans range at specsavers but I'll dedicate a proper blog post for them in the next week or two because they deserve to be seen in all there glory. Also in the next few weeks I'm going to be posting some of my final collection and photos from fittings up, just so you know.

And on one last final not here is me and Benji the dog who I walk most days, cheers to my brother for taking these an all.
