HAPPY NEW YEAR!

These are just a selection of pictures from my lovely friend's party last night, unlike last years I was very, very sober though if it wasn't for my medication I probably wouldn't of been! I spent new years with some of the people I love dearly, all my friends. They all know I blog and tend to have sneaky reads from time to time! In fact the wonderful image of my friend Billy with his mouth open and posing was requested to go up in his slightly drunken state so lets hope hes see's it! I also put a picture in of one of my oldest friend Joe's 3 piece suit he wore, He's got some serious style I'm going to try and badger him next time he's home from Sandhurst to get some pictures of him to put up on here, he dresses so well! The only other pictures of him are from this party so long ago! My friend Becca in the grey dress had the cutest clutch ever so I got a full length shot of her by the tree. It's from Accesorize and was reduced from £22 to £12 I'm going to go and hunt it down for myself it's so beautiful.

This year with my outfit was a little more out of my comfort zone than what I would of worn a year ago! But who cares I actually felt fine, maybe even great in it! The bra under is a longline from Matalan, I actually love loads of there lingerie lately! I bought the top in the Next sales along with my shoes which I AM IN LOVE WITH and I've been praising them on twitter to! I paired them with a skater skirt from Asos and some tights. Then I wore my trusty red lip stain and matching it to my bra which you a little visible under the top, was that trashy matching them? You know what I don't care I loved it! This is a look I am definitely going to try again which mean you'll probably have lots more posts with visible bra being shown on purpose!

Finally I had to get into there downstairs shower and pretend I was singing into it because that is something I tend to do at house parties! I just realised how picture heavy this post is, I am so sorry but I loved to many of them not to include them! Hope you all had a lovely New Years Eve and Day!

Shop My Wardrobe.

Just a quick post to let you know I've re-opened my Selling Blog since coming back from uni with lots of clothes I've realised I really need to clear my wardrobes and start afresh! The majority of the site is unworn or hardly worn clothing what can I say I'm addicted to clothes! There are no prices on the items I just want your offers and if its what I have in mind then it's all yours!

Generally postage is £3.00 or £4.00 if it's something heavier like shoes or a coat. This includes the packaging and me having to travel to the post office, if that makes sense? There is a whole range of sizes up on the site as well as a large range of labels from Simply Be to Evans and Asos Curve!

Comment on the item if you are interested in anything you can email me or tweet me @rosieroundface . If you are interested in more than one item, just let me know and I'll figure out how much the postage would be.

In addition to this blog sale if you've seen something I've worn on this blog in the last few years and really liked me just ask me about it the chances are its either in my selling pile or going unloved in a draw and I'll happily sell it to you if it's something I no longer wear!

Floral and Denim.

Just a post to state that I am alive and wearing clothes! It's feels so long since I did an outfit post and I promise to get a few decent pictures taken before the weekends over I've just not been very productive over the Christmas holidays which is truly awful I realise! So here is a quick snap my best friend took of me in her bedroom this evening while we sat on her bed chatting utter rubbish and giggling very loudly mostly due to one of the utterly amaze presents I got for her this Christmas!

So what am I wearing the skirt and shirt are both new pieces from the sales I actually feel I've done pretty well out of them though now I'm definitely going to have to cut down my spending. The shirt I am in love with and its so comfortable! But its one of those pieces that if the majority saw it they'd think it wasn't very nice but i love the vintage style and the floral's, my mum kindly bought it me while we were in Manchester on boxing day and it was £7 from new look inspire. The skirt I bought myself as I tend to wear the same denim skirt all the time ( and I really mean all the time it rarely comes off) I think it reminds me of a seventies style though I could be wrong! I got it from Dorothy Perkins for £15. I'll show you all my other sale items as soon as I can.

I'm hoping to do a few posts before the end of 2011, it's sounds so scary to think this year is almost over and so much has happened I might start 2012 with a look back on everything I've done and what I plan to do, hope that sounds good!

Summery Florals.

This is just a short little outfit post because I didn't get chance to snap a full length shot of this because we were running late for the meal. I wore this outfit to a very old friend of mines 18th birthday meal and then we went back to her house and got a little tipsy, this is why you can't see my full face on these pictures my eyes looked awful! haha.

I got the top today from Dorothy Perkins in the sale, as well as getting 20% student discount which gave me an even better reason for buying it! The sleeves are wide and drape nicely over the top of your arms and if your like me and honestly cannot stand your flabby little arms these sleeves cover the worst part nicely without having to wear another layer, so I think I'll be sporting this quite a lot over the warmer months. But it looks just as lovely with a chunky cardigan over, I also plan to team this with some rolled up jeans for a more casual look. While in Dorothy Perkins today I found the cutest jeans they were just the right length and rolled up a little at the bottom and fitted well on my short chunky legs, though is it just me or do the crotch's on trousers always look really strange, it might just me be. Anyway these jeans were roughly 30 pound so I put them back down for now but I'm thinking about purchasing a pair!

This skirt is also from Dorothy Perkins in the sale just after Christmas I got it for 3 pounds with student discount as well! It's much more a summer skirt but I wore leggings under neath it during winter and it was fine. Tonight I wore black tights and brogues with it and a black cardigan which is also from Dorothy Perkins, can you tell I have a store in my local town as well as ones in a number of others near me?

Well I promise to get another outfitpost done with a much better camera soon! Also I had my interview at leeds college of art and I'm going to do a little vlog about it on my youtube channel aroselikethis so it would be great for you to subscribe and friend me on there!

Firstly let me apologise for not posting in over a week, which to some people may not seem a long time but to me its light years! Secondly I just wanted to say I'm really happy I've finally reached 70 followers because its just that bit closer to 100! And Thirdly I'm also sorry for the dodgy quality of these photographs, my web cam is playing up even more than normal so hopefully I can talk someone into taking a few outfit pictures for me soon. Fourth and finally I really need a haircut.

I was having a feeling for spring today, though I'm not sure if it comes across in my outfit. I'm also feeling the stress of university interviews and projects to get interviews, but hopefully I'll be okay soon and I promise to blog better and be less erratic. I've spent my day manically finishing pieces of work to send to Leeds college of art and to be quite honest I'm really pleased with what I'd done now it would be really nice if you all crossed your fingers and toes for me getting an interview. I've also finished the blog for my mmu to send to them, then also cross everything that I get an interview with them as well, the blog for mmu consists of photographs of my work lets just hope its good enough!

Now finally on to my what I'm wearing. This shirt is a new purchase but in my defence I had taken something back to Evans before going into Dorothy Perkins and finding this, I saw this in stores before Christmas but I just couldn't face to pay the full price, then it disappeared from the hangers until the beautiful moment on Tuesday where I found it hidden between jumpers. Now I know a few places and online did still have it so its worth checking it out. I have to say it is an over sized pussy bow blouse and this is in my actual size (20) and its pretty baggy I would of preferred to size down once or twice for a more fitted style also its pretty low cut so if your going to wear it without a top under i suggest pinning it but other than that I am very happy with it. My cardigan is also from Dorothy Perkins and was surprise, surprise also from one of there sales I got it a year or so ago but I don't wear it much though I know I'm thinking of doing for one of my uni interviews! I think it just adds a splash of colour without being over bearing.

My leggings are a trusty pair of Evans ones which have been worn to death! Though I do feel these leggings could do with being a little thicker as when I bend my knees you can see skin through them a little too much. These boots are the wonderful pair I won off style369 in November and they look just as cute with leggings and a top as they do with a little tea dress. Then as always I finished off my look with a slick of rich red lipstick.

My next outfit post will either be what can I wear to my interview or a review of some lovely pieces yours clothing sent my way (which I've tried on and love already, I just wish I could keep them!)

"Waking up to people talking and it's getting later every morning, now I realise it's nearly midday and I've wasted half my life to throw it away, singing everyday should be a new day to make you smile and find a new way of falling in love, I could've fallen in love."

I apologise for it being a whole week since i last posted but I've just not been sure on what to write really, but anyway I'm back and bigger than ever! I went and stayed with my brother and his girlfriend in Liverpool so i could go to the John Moore's open day fr my fashion course but when i arrived I'd found out that they had in fact cancelled the fashion course for 2011 so really there was so point in me going but i got to wander around Liverpool look in some shops and buy a fair few brooches from primark!

I finally got to have a look (in person, at what was left) of the Beth Ditto range in the Liverpool Evans store. They had one polka dot dress left in my size and i have to say i utterly fell in love with it but with the steep price tag of £59.50 i would never dream of being able to afford it on my own but it was so comfortable and just fitted so well, arghh i really should stop writing about it I mean it took me long enough to talk myself out of it haha! The second image of myself is just what i wore for my open day that didn't happen. The skirt was bought for 3 pounds in the Dorothy Perkins sale and its pretty much not left my waist since i got it. The shirt i thrifted for £2.99 from a charity shop in my town. And then the finishing touch to what i wore was my coat which i acquired last January in the Dorothy Perkins sale and i just love duffle coats and this one has a slight a-line shape which fits really well.

i saw the moustache stencil on a wall in Liverpool and i just love it, pretty tempted to have it tattooed on my person somewhere but maybe i should just stick to my bird instead? anyway i just thought it was really cool so i photographed it. Also i know the mcfly lyrics aren't really linked to the whole trip to Liverpool but i saw them on Saturday night in Manchester and I've just had them in my head ever since. Oh and they were insanely amazing (but another post on that later!) so has anyone been thrifty this weekend? And any plans for the coming week it's half term for me and I'm hoping to visit some galleries.

YES I FINALLY HAVE A WATCHY NECKLACE THING.
and you know what this is one of the nicest I've seen and its perfect its practical yet pretty what more could a girl want?
and yes i also know these photos are really bad i was excited and tired from a day in Manchester! Anyway if you were clever enough to notice (or able to read upside down) you would see the necklace is pictured on top of a Urban Outfitters shopping bag www.urbanoutfitters.com my necklace is in fact from there Manchester store. And was the delectable price of £15.00 reduced from 28 and I've actually been looking for the perfect one for ages, so that makes it even more of a bargain! the engraving on it is actually really beautiful but due to my crappy photographic skills here you can't see the clock in its perfect beauty.
