A few weeks ago I attended Twinwood Festival with work and camped, now I'm not one for camping if I'm honest... I can survive but it's not something I take great joy in (waking up in a damp sleeping bag from rolling into the tent walls is a mild nightmare) and though we did have nice showers they could end up full of moths etc and I actually felt cleaner using these fab wipes than I did getting into the shower. So these Equip+ wipes were a life saver!

I tried everything bar the shampoo cap while I was there, (as I had my hair in vintage styles the whole time and it's easier to do these actually on dirtier hair!) and for when showering is impossible or a pain in the bum these are perfect, I felt clean, fresh the whole weekend and they don't have that horrible feeling babywipes leave on your skin when used! I've also got dry and rather sensitive skin and these didn't upset my skin at all which also really surprised me as I tend to find similar things such as face wipes actually dry my skin out a lot and I found out the hard way while away and by the 4th day the skin on my face was in a right state! As as Girl Guiding leader and baby sitter I've also found these really handy for keeping in my bag when we go on little trips with my rainbow unit and when I'm baby sitting as someone always ends up either muddy or spilling something down them!

Kill The Young.

I went to a little gig at my local pub on Saturday night there were lots of bands playing through out the day but I only went for Kill The Young a rather old friend plays for them at the moment and they've just come back from gigging for 3 months in France. One of the things I kind of love about them is that they can walk through my town high street and no one will bat an eyelid but in the past they've been chased by fans in France, which is insane but also amazing that they can just do whatever they want when there home. I know other musicians/well known people who aren't quite so lucky. But I won't go on and on about them now because this would then become a very wordy post, though I'm starting to listen to them a lot so I'm guessing a few posts will have titles related to there songs in the near future.

The first picture (if you can even see it properly) is of my friend Jake he took lead for one song. He's actually in another band called This Machine Is Off and I have to say I love this band, I've been to see them a number of times and tend to go to gigs when there supporting other bands also. The last time I watched them perform it was when they were supporting Kid British, I always find out about other really cool bands from just going to watch TMIO support and play. At the moment they haven't been doing much as Jake's been in France with Kill The Young but hopefully they'll come trickling back into the scene.

You'll remember me when the west wind blows.Among the fields of gold.

Yeah, i went for a walk a few nights ago and ended up spending some rare quiet moments in a field. How is it that when your walking with someone its not scary at all but on your own its F*cking Terrifying. Here is my new necklace and denim jacket the necklace is pictured in the post below. This jacket i found in a charity shop for the wonderful price of 3.99 and it works really well with my more summery clothes as well as my warmer ones. The tunic/dress i am wearing is from Dorothy Perkins in the sale and i have black leggings on from Evans.

I did a post on my beautiful Doc Martins when i first started blogging in April and here they still are in July! They are patent black leather ones and i love them dearly i can wear them with almost anything. I hope you like what i did with the pictures on this post i thought I'd try presenting them a little different, just comment below and tell me what you think of everything. I would say "honest is the best policy" but if you going to post something really horrid i wouldn't bother it won't upset me. much love.

Wakey, Wakey in Wales.

Yes! I went to wakestock this weekend and had a wale of a time (get it wale, haha i know I'm just too funny! or erm not.) Anyway the bands were amazing, the people i went with were amazing the weather was amazing the only thing that was not as amazing was some of the crazy people there. But over all it was a seriously good weekend!

I wore my vest tunic from Primark because i thought there's no point wearing anything fancy if its going to get beer thrown over it, which did happen! i also took my vintage bag and I am so glad it survived the weekend a plain black cardigan for when it got cold which was basically the whole day due to the bloody wind! Plain black leggings and a pair of scrubby old red pumps with tatty bows on. And i had my hair tided up in a scruffy not at the nape of my neck and a baby blue plaited hairband across my head which i made with some elastic and some old fabric.

The ever so wonderful Allie picture in both of my photos is wearing a pair of old cut off jeans and strapless top a pair of sandals. And the most important festival piece a pair of RayBan style shades, and while i am here i will take the liberty to say Allie are actual RayBan's no fakes here! Though the guys from Chase and Status would try and make you thing otherwise!
