A lovely photo from the lovely Lauren at Pocket Rocket Fashion.
The ladies being Caroline, Deb, Isha, Hanna, Charlotte, Rivkie.

Last week I was lucky enough to be in London for a few days and be invited to a number of rather fabulous events the first being the launch of Cut for Evans in association with Now Magazine. I met Rivkie the fabulous editor of Slink Magazine just before the event so thankfully I didn't have to arrive alone, I did however go and hide in Next to try and make myself remotely presentable after being drowned in the rain luckily Evans had hair, make up and lovely nail painting happening so thankfully I got my hair spruced up!

Evans have ran a competition with fashion students from a number of universities who are famed for there knitwear and print specialities to design a capsule collection they chose one winner for each catagory these being the lovely Alice Farrow for print and Rebecca Partington for knitwear. I adore the outcome as a fashion design student things like this really get me excited for creating my own plus size garments and playing with print and colour is something that lets be honest is quite rare when it comes to plus size fashion. A number of girls were wearing items from the collection throughout the store and they all looked amazing!I'm totally regretting not picking up any while I was at the launch!

All the pieces are of course very visual and not for the faint hearted but from what I've seen of all the ladies wearing the pieces everyone seems to look amazing in the garments! It was also so lovely to see so many of my blogger friends under one roof, which doesn't happen very often for me anymore as I can't visit London quite as often as I used to. It was also utterly fabulous meeting some ladies I've spoken to online for the first time in person, even though we all follow each other on twitter so you basically feel like to know everything about each other anyway! I can't wait to see what else Evans have up there sleeves for the rest of 2014 and I hope they keep coining for talent such as this to show that plus size fashion can more often than not be VERY exciting!

Wendy again, Becky of Mrs BeBe, Slink Magazine and a new babe to us Danielle!

I am so late posting about this as it was over two weeks ago now! But the lovely people at Evans were nice enough to invite me down to Arcadia Head Office for an afternoon of having sneak peaks at new collections and collaborations (Just so you know some pieces are AMAZING, I can't wait to wear them) we were also lucky enough to get to play dress up in some of the new clothing going into store's and online soon!

The dress I'm wearing is by Scarlett & Jo  and this range is available from February 5th. I actually got into a size 16 with this but it was definitely tight! I adore the length of the sleeves as it means you won't have to find a cardigan to cover your arms if that's what you prefer. Also the lace inserts are just another really pretty detail. I realise I probably look pretty awkward can I blame the shoes? They were MASSIVE Caroline of Curvy Wordy actually had to put me in them and help me up, lets just say I'm a flatform/wedge girl at heart!

I got to spend the day with some of my fave bloggers who are truly close friends to me now! So of course it was a total blast, the other collections/collaborations we saw were the beautiful Alex Monoe "Alouette, Live Unlimited  out 25th March and finally Collection which is out 14th April. So finally another thank you to a lovely evening Evans!

                                                                           Clements Riberio for Evans.

I think this is going to be a little ongoing thing on my blog quite like my "Currently Coveting" is. There is so many amazing Plus Size (and Straight Size) bloggers that I fangirl over I  felt that it was time for me to let you know who I'm loving.

And of course my first lady is Bethany from Arched Eyebrow who I have had the pleasure of meeting on a number of occasions if I need inspiration for looking amazing this is my first stop.  I've chosen this picture because well I love prints and I don't really have the balls to wear them all over like this! This picture I borrowed off Beth's blog (I asked I'm allowed!) it was taken at the latest Clements Riberio event Evans put on to preview there new current collaboration with the brand. This is not a jumpsuit its in fact a tunic and matching pants but how awesome does it look! I know that some plus sized women wouldn't ever dream of wearing these together but seeing this makes me want to match up all my prints and patterns!Which is totally making this some of my favorite pieces from the Clements Riberio Collection. Just basically Beth makes me want to be braver with my wardrobe choices and of course shes a total babe as well.

Do you have any bloggers plus size or not that give you wardrobe inspiration or even envy, let me know!

I really love the overall styling of the Clements Riberio Collections. the red lips but no actual full head, well its pretty genius! I own a lovely top from the previous collection which I can dress up and down and is actually comfortable to wear and doesn't cling to my tummy at all!

I adore this whole look above the clash of the prints, ankle grazing length of the trouser and the batwing shape of the sleeve. Everything just screams comfort but also style, as I can't afford the whole outfit (hello student loan) but I've decided that I probably the trousers in my life! I'd pair them with so many things in my wardrobe, from a buttoned up denim shirt to a cute striped tee and flatforms.

What pieces are you loving from Clements Riberio's latest collection for Evans?

Clements Ribeiro for Evans Event.

Right on Monday I headed to London to have a look at the Clements Ribeiro for Evans collection. I know this has been on a number of girls blogs so I won't dwell to much on this collaboration other to say that I love it! Okay so not everything in it will suit me or is even to my tastes but some pieces are completely to die for and I would wear them so much! The top images of me wearing the black heart print tunic which I am seriously going to invest in as I utterly adored it on and felt like it could be worn in so many different ways!

As always it was lovely to meet up with some of the bloggers I've come to know and love dearly! I spent my time with Becky from The Ramblings of Mrs Bebe, La Cara from Oh La La Curves, Naomi from Diamonds 'n' Pearls , Joanne from Just Joanna and finally Amy from These Girls Turn Heads. I do believe there were some other lovely ladies there to but I can't remember names, so sorry! I met up with Becky to arrive at head office together and then also met up with Joanne when we (eventually) got to Oxford street after thinking we could walk from Kings Cross to head office in the end we got completely lost and admitted defeat and got on the tube and then had a cheeky bit of food before the event!

Evans made the event such a lovely experience and I was just insanely excited about being at Arcadia head offices, can you tell I'm a fashion student?! We were also treated to drinks and nibbles and I think we all know I love treats so that was obviously brilliant. This Monday I'm going to head to Liverpool and snap up a piece from the collection, also planning on taking a few sneaky changing room pictures so you can all see how the collection is on someone short and very round unlike the pro models. I'll give my honest opinion on the selection as I do with anything! I borrowed a few of these snaps mainly ones of me and ones with becky) either off evans facebook page or Naomi thanks guys!
