RI Plus.

Dress: c/o RI Plus. Wedges: Primark (old). Belt: Vintage. Sunglasses: Specspost. Necklace:Asos.

I was lucky enough a few months ago to be sent a some pieces of the River Island Plus Size range. Unfortunately this dress is now sold out on the site but I'll be putting together a wish list of items I'm absolutely loving from their current range because there is SO many pieces! Did you also know that RI Plus is now available on Asos, great news right?! This style of dress is something I'd usually really shy away from as figure hugging dresses aren't normally my thing as the one part of my body I'm still a little insecure about is my tummy (not because it's fat but it's the shape of how it sits, if that makes sense?!) This may be why it's taken me so long to post these... I've not been myself these past few months but I won't bore you with that!

What surprised me most about RI Plus is that the items seems pretty true to size! From my experience of already established brands creating a plus size section the sizing can sometimes be quite off but with RI Plus the size 20 fits me really well, I even managed to get in the jeans they sent me to review (which I will be posting shortly!) Funny enough the more I look at these photos of this dress on me the more I begin to like the shape, sure my tummy wobbles out a little bit but I'm definitely still rocking it! I decided to style it up with my all time favourite wedges which were from Primark years ago and I will cry when they finally give up! My handcuff necklace and finally my favourite sunglasses which in case you haven't noticed basically don't leave my face between the months of May to October!

I can't wait to show you more River Island Plus! They've also announced that they will be launching wide fit shoes which I am MASSIVELY excited about and I will of course show you my favourites once launched!

Twilight Night Out With Evans Clothing.

Dress and bag: c/o Evans Clothing. Earrings: Blackheart Creatives. Shoes: New Look.

This look was for a night out that never happened but I decided to take some photos of it because I loved it so much anyway! Unfortunately the light had gone in my garden so unfortunately these haven't come out as well as I hoped them to be but I didn't want to waste them!

Evans Clothing sent me this dress awhile back now but I'd been saving it for said night out so it would all pull together. I'd had my eyes on this dress for months prior because I utterly adored the chiffon cape detailing as it made me feel very much Florence Welch without me ended up tangled in flowing sleeves or choking myself by sitting on said cape. (it's happened before!) Here I'm wearing a UK 20 and it's true to size, which I often find with Evans that it is very rare I'll have to size up in any of their clothing. The only issue with this dress for me is that I'd like the skirt to be shorter but I doubt anyone else would as I'm only 5'2! I do wish the photographs had picked up how fabulous the bag is as well as it really twinkles under lights with it's green sequins, for me it's not the most practical bag as I like to carry ALOT of crap with me at all times but it's super cute and just about fits my phone in and some money!

I finished the look with Voiletta Lipstick from Mac which is a gorgeous purple with a slight metallic shimmer and my Bleackheart Creatives Pom Pom Earrings which I just adore. I rarely wear my hair up because it makes me self conscious about my chubby cheeks but while I'm growing my under cut and fringe out I'm trying to do more with it!

Very Cherry with Dolly and Dotty

Dress: c/o Dolly & Dotty. Bag: Primark. Shoes: Evans.

I'm back with a new post today showing you one of the dresses adorable Vintage retro brand Dolly and Dotty sent me across to show you guys and I have to say I'm really impressed! I just wish my photos did it justice but my surroundings were against me when I snapped these!

One of the first things I love about Dolly and Dotty is how true to size the two dresses they sent me were with Vintage Reproduction brands generally speaking I've learnt to always size up so where possible I'll order a UK22 but here both dresses I was sent were UK20's and they fit really well in fact with this Evelyn Retro Swing Dress I find it quite generous particularly around my arms which makes it really comfortable! Another thing is that each dress came with a matching reversible headscarf which is such an adorable idea! Here I just tied it onto my clutch bag, another thing is that this dress came with 2 belts one in a matching print then this plain red one and for how reasonable the price of this is, these little extras are a complete surprise! The only downside for me really is that it's a little long in the body for me but this is something that often happens with me due to being pretty short!

I can't wait for warmer weather so I can wear this bare legged and show the fabulous print off! You can also see a video of the look over on my Youtube Channel here.

Winter Florals with Lavitta.

Top and Jacket: c/o Lavitta. Earmuffs: Primark. Jeggings: Matalan. Trainers: Converse. Glasses: Specsavers.

This is probably one of the more casual looks I've shown on my blog lately but I am certainly feeling it. With Christmas now being over (I'm genuinely gutted about it, I need more time I spent half of it tipsy or asleep!) I searching for comfortable clothes that I can still wear to work without looking like I've turned up in my Pyjamas and I think I've hit gold with this baseball style tunic from the team over at Lavitta sent across for me to style up. They also sent me this beautiful faux fur jacket which is so cosy without me feel massive and bundled up! I've actually worn the jacket with some of my dressier vintage inspired looks and it's so perfect.

In the tunic I'm wearing a UK22 as I like them to be a little loose so I can wear them with leggings but I would have probably have been fine with my usual UK20 I love how this has the baseball style sleeves and the print is utterly lovely, initially I was a little worried that the pieces at Lavitta wouldn't suit me but I'm happy to say I love loads of their stuff! In the jacket I stayed with my usual size 20 as I don't like my jackets to be over sized as I feel if they're more fitted they'll sit on my figure better. I decided to style this up with some cute earmuffs which were an impulse buy from Primark and my glasses, which I never seem to wear on blog photos and I really should more as I need them all the time so I can actually see!

Label Lab at House of Fraser.

Top: c/o Label Lab at House of Fraser. Leggings: Matalan. Shoes: Evans. Hair Flower: Claireabellas Closet.

All I feel like I do is apologise for not blogging as much as I'd like to at the moment but I've been pulling extra hours at my new job as Christmas is always a crazy one!

The lovely girls over at House of Fraser sent me this top and another in a similar style to try out and as I'm currently looking for comfortable but put together outfits for my job I knew these would be perfect for just that. So far in the colder months I've worn a long sleeved tee under these tops and either left them loose or usually with this confetti printed one I belt it. Here I'm wearing a UK22 which really I didn't need to size up at all as I'd say this one is very generous, I could have easily even sized down to a UK18. I do however still love the shape and style of this top particularly how it flows. Some of the detailing which I unfortunately struggled to photograph (but can be seen on my YouTube video!) are the exposed sections on the back which are similar to a key hole look on a garment, they'll lovely and I'm sure will be wonderful for keeping cooler in the summer months!

I wanted the colours on the top to pop so kept the rest of my outfit muted. I however couldn't resist matching my lips to the deep rich purples on the print, I'm not sure if it works for me but make up is all about having fun anyway! The rose in my hair is also the newest edition to my hair flower collection and it's LOVE. I am a little unsure if I can fully pull it off for more than just special occasions as it's pretty huge but I don't care it's velvety and lovely!

The other top they also sent me, which you'll see in a YouTube video very soon is also on sale! And what a bargain!? I've worn them so much already and they wash very well with no ironing or fussing, which for a lazy gal like myself is perfect. To see the full range of Plus Size at Label Lab click here.

Lace and Suede with New Look Inspire.

Lace Bralette and Skirt: c/o Inspire at New Look. Necklace: Topshop. Sunglasses: Specspost. Bolero: eBay. Shoes: New Look.

I'M BACK! Sorry I've been so quiet lately but a lot of things have been going on that I just couldn't put into written words but I'm hoping I can make a little catch up video soon so explain all.

Anyway I've been wanting to post about this cute as hell look for what feels like forever but I've only just had chance to properly sit down where I felt like writing again. New Look Inspire were kind enough to send me a whole bag of treats back at the end of September and the stunning bralette and skirt were two of the pieces and originally I wasn't sure how to style them but I'm really glad they work so well together. Also sorry about the creases in the skirt I wasn't sure how or whether to iron it and my mum wasn't in to ask when I was taking the photos, but it still looks cute right?!

Here in the skirt I'm wearing a UK20 I'd say it's true to size but snug so if you'd wish to wear it lower on your waist than I have you may wish to try the size up to see. It's not the shortest skirt I've ever worn but it's also not the longest as I stand at around 5'2 the skirt hits the bottom of my thighs, as you can see in the photos by catching a glimpse of the bottom of my tattoos. For me this isn't a problem at all but I know if you're taller it may be something to keep in mind! The bralette I'm wearing in either 1XL or 2XL and I utterly adore this, it's something I've worn numerous times already for either a night out with a backless jumper or just lazing around my room because it makes me feel almost a little bit sexy and that's no bad thing in my book! It's not overly supportive so when I've worn it out I have worn a bra under it just for my own peace of mind!

Frills and Florals with Boohoo.

Top and Skirt: c/o Boohoo. Sunglasses: Specspost. Shoes: Primark. Necklace: Charity Shop.

This is my second instalment from the fab goodies Boohoo sent across to me when the sun was still just about shining! I simply ADORE this outfit but I just wish my photographs did it justice unfortunately I was struggling to find a good place in my garden to snap them! I'm also sorry if they seem a little creased I'm too impatient with an iron when there is clothes as cute as these for me to wear. The team over at Boohoo originally sent this outfit across for me to wear to a stunt they were planning but unfortunately it had to be cancelled but they were sweet enough to let me keep the pieces to show you on here and on my YouTube Channel!

I'm wearing the Betsy off the shoulder frill top  which surprisingly is from the main range which from my understanding technically only goes up to a UK14 however I knew from the fabulous Charlotte from The Good Owl (who I'd seen it on during the summer and knew I had to have it!) that it was a loose fit and elasticated so I thought I may get away with it and luckily I did as I really love this top! The sleeves are dramatic in the very best sense but have taken bit of getting used to when I'm wearing it. I decided to pair this with the Rosie printed a line skirt from Boohoo Plus which I'm wearing in a UK22 as with Boohoo generally speaking I always need to size up at least once with the clothes (but not the swimwear as you know from my previous post) I finished the look with my primary wedges which I've had for ages and will be gutted when they fall apart, my chain from the charity shop and cateye frames from Specspost.

So what do you think and here's to hoping that this post won't be the last one which the sun shining in it!

Flourish of Summer with New Look.

Playsuit: c/o New Look Inspire. Bag: (old) Primark. Necklace: Online. Shoes: New Look. Sunglasses: c/o Specspost.

I genuinely do feel this may be the last flourish of summer but what an outfit to have the last gasps of potential sunshine in?! I was lucky enough to receive a bag full of goodies from the Inspire range at New Look and this fabulous playsuit was one of the items. I really love playsuits but so often they don't really love me (#shortarseproblems) This one however fit's me surprisingly well! The waistband isn't riding up and the short style bottoms aren't too long or too short! Another plus to this is that it's super comfortable and easy to get on and off, I'm sure lots of you reading this will know the struggle of wearing a playsuit and needing to pee, sometimes they're so fiddly that you basically end up half naked in the cubicle!

This Playsuit isn't currently available on the site but if you'd like a bargain I think it'll be in the sale in-store and it's definitely worth the rummage through! Here I'm wearing a UK20 and I'd definitely say it runs true to size as it doesn't cling to any of my lumps and bumps which is always good. I styled it up with my Primark gold satchel which I unearthed from the back of my wardrobe and bargain shoes I picked up myself from New Look earlier in the year for the price of £3.00 I love these so much that I bought 2 pairs! My hair is loose waves racked over my head to produce more volume my hair because I'm having a phase where it just not really doing anything and driving me mad! You can check out my film of this look on my YouTube Channel here!

Have you checked out the latest pieces from New Look Inspire? I'm currently lusting over this Skater Dress as it would be perfect for work as it looks really comfortable and I just love the tie detail at the back!
