Top: Pop Boutique, Manchester (from the men's section). Trousers: Primark.

This feels like it's taken me days to actually write and post up, everything is just been getting on top of me and late nights and early mornings are seriously taking there toll! But finally here are one of my new pairs of trousers in all there glory so to speak. I just adore the print which originally drew me to them, well that and the elastic waist I seriously hate zips in trousers I find them so uncomfortable and just never fit me! These are in a soft light cotton fabric so they'll be great for summer, I'm just thinking of making them ankle grazers at the moment because I'm a dwarf and there to long.

I was originally thinking maybe these would look better with a long line top over them as crotches on trousers always look weird on me but when I bought them with Sophie she said they looked good high waisted so maybe I can just do both? Though I think I need some shape wear under them as you can see my tummy a bit! I styled these with a vintage inspired knitted shirt from Pop Boutique in the northern quarter, I love going there and may of mentioned them in posts over the last year or so. I tend to have more luck in the men's section than women's, not that I care as long as I feel good in the clothes anyway. I just finished it with a light sweep of red lipstick.

Yesterday I was in London for an event and had to catch the coach at 7.30 in the morning and got home at 8pm and today I had a hand in between 10 and 11... and woke up at 10ish to Sophie banging on my bedroom door and thank god she did! So even though today I should be finishing off my shirt ready for my fit session next Wednesday I'm sitting in bed feeling like I'm doing everything half asleep!

Feeling Inspired.

Just a few pictures I'm feeling inspired by at the moment I cannot wait until spring/summer so I can have daisies all down my hair if my hair ever grows long enough that is! And I saw the denim dress with cat patch pockets on tumblr and completely fell in love back home I have a denim dress I bought last summer which is still waiting to be altered I really want to put cat patterned fabric over the pockets on it, I think it would look adorable and oh so quirky! Then finally I love anything in upholstery or carpet so I obviously need those shoes in my life.

Also I thought I'd just add on to this post to say thank you to everyone who voted for me on the Company Magazines comp in association with River Island I didn't get through but I'm still pretty proud that I got over 200 likes :)

The sun is shining...

So the sun is shining and I'm not totally hating it yet! Which lets be honest is a first, normally as soon as any warmer weather comes by I want it gone straight away and a blizzard to appear in its place, but I'm managing to deal with nice weather at the moment but as soon as the heat waves start I'll be full on moaning!

I'm sorry this isn't an amazing outfit post but its far to warm to wear my usual layers and accessories, though I do still think its a really pretty look. This dress/tunic if from matalan and recently I've hardly had it off my back! Which I know probably sounds really gross but its just one of my favourite pieces at the moment, I think I'll have to buy another one before summertime officially hits because I can see this getting me through the warmer months. I have shown it on my blog before but it deserves many more photos, and you will most likely see it a lot more in future posts anyway!

My leggings are also from Matalan and these are some of the best ones I've owned there more thickened than other brands I've owned which is great because I hate it when I bend my knees and you can see skin through or worse the pattern of my pants through! These shoes are new and from peacocks and whats even better my feet actually fit in them! I normally have to get my shoes from Evans because I have really wide feet, but thankfully these fit pretty well as my favourite pair of shoes are literally dying right now. My sunglasses were from primark last year if I remember correctly, there just for fun really I have a few pairs of primark "RayBan's" which I wear in public. And finally I don't think I really had any make up on because I wanted the suns rays to make me pretty, which obviously doesn't work!

If you've read posts on my blog or watched any of my YouTube videos you will know that I had an interview for Leeds College of Art and I found out a few days ago that I didn't in the end get a place of course to start off with I was utterly gutted! But now I'd like to think that I was lucky enough to even be offered an interview and I do have a place at another uni anyway, so its not so bad. If you have me on twitter I did mope about being turned down for a while but I promise I'm fine now. Also I'm sorry I haven't been blogging as much as I feel I should, I've just been struggling to get things down in words, hopefully I'll be able to spit my works out much better from now on.

And Lastly on Wednesday it was my blogs first birthday I cannot believe I've been running this little thing for a year now! And I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who followers me, whether it be on google, twitter or bloglovin it just means a lot!

Daisy chain dreams.

Sorry I've been away from outfit posting for a week or so I've had a pretty badly swollen face due to an abscess in my mouth. If you've got me on twitter you would of most definitely seen me feeling extremely sorry for myself! Anyway hopefully that will all be sorted soon as I have a big session in the dentists chair on the 21st of February to try and fix it. So for now I'm back to you seeing a little more of my face on here as long as you don't mind of course! I've had a pretty hectic few weeks with being off ill for so long I've got a awful lot of catching up to do for my college work to I'll be in on all my days off but I promise I'll squeeze in time for you all.

So on to what I'm wearing in these photographs, if you have noticed it was stupidly windy when I was taking these so I do look ridiculously windswept. This is my hair in it's almost natural state a little bit wavy/messy, I'm really starting to like my hair this way more it also saves it from being frazzled by my straighteners. I'm also wearing my glasses in these pictures because I was doing some work before I took these. In a matter of fact I'm actually supposed to wear my glasses all the time but I don't feel like they suit me so I tend to avoid wearing them. I've just got a old peachy pink lipstick from bourjois on my lips and that's it for make up, pretty brave eh?

My tunic/top thing is new from matalan and I really love it! I've been after something with a peter pan collar for so long but I've just never seemed to get lucky picking one up, until now. The pattern is making me feel a little more happy about spring considering I seriously dislike warm weather. I also often hide my arms because they just look really awful most of the time but I feel okay about seeing them with these sleeves on. The ring in the top image is also from matalan I saw one just like it in topshop a few months back and it was pretty overpriced so I thought I'd wait for the sale but I found this one with 70% off so I got it for little over a pound, and isn't it just charming.

The belt is also new as I really needed one to keep up my asos curve trousers and at the moment there is 20% off with your student card at Dorothy Perkins so I bought this pleather embossed one and it works well with a lot of my clothing (yeah I've already tried it with almost everything in my wardrobe) and finally my leggings are good old Evans ones which to be honest I find a little to thin for this time of year and my shoes were from the style369 sale and I just put them with the outfit to add a little contrasting colour.

While I'm here I just would like to ask all my lovely followers what do you think about me dying my hair a brightish ginger shade like this I really want to but I don't know if I dare to! I might at February half term so if it turns out god awful I can at least let it tone down a bit. Also I want to say that I hope every who went to Plus London yesterday had an amazing time ( it seems that way from a number of tweets I saw) and I wish I could of been there but I definitely will be for the next one!
