Keeping it classy as always, as you can see!

Anna Scholz her team and Some of the Simply Be girls!

Me and my new best friend Anna's dog Frida. She was utterly adorable. (Photo from Apple Charlotte)

Back in Mid February on the single day it didn't rain while I was in London for a few days I attended the fabulous event at Anna Scholz HQ to see the latest pieces, play dress up and of course hang around with some of my favourite girls! I'm sure you've read about it this on lots of blogs by now but I'm being fashionably late(?) to the party with only just getting chance to write it up now. As always the Simply Be team were an utterly pleasure to be around as was Anna Scholz herself and the rest of her team. Particularly her pup Frida who I'm just a little bit smitten with!

The clothes are to die for and I surprisingly fell in love with a amxi dress something I'd probably never normally go near but the colour, pattern and trimmings are what pulled at my heart strings and it's certainly something I'm going to have to try on as soon as I can. I've also began a love affair with the bomber jacket of dreams, which is purely an Anna Scholz piece I believe and not one in conjunction with Simply Be? It felt amazing on, fitted perfectly (I tried a sample 18 not thinking I'd get it zipped up but it was utterly divine) and the embroidery OH THE EMBROIDERY! At this point I'm sure it's pretty clear that I'm a fashion design student as it was so colour and perfect and just needs to be mine really!

And lastly it's the lingerie that did it for me! If they'd had my size on the rail I may have had to have slipped into something more comfortably and given it a whirl, the vibrant and decadent colours are just stunning in person and the fabrics feel lovely to the touch and as I'm sure you'll know some underwear is wonderful to look at until you see what type of fabric it is.You can take a look at all the fabulous lingerie, Anna Scholz for Simply Be has to offer by clicked on this link.

Massive thank you to Simply Be and Anna Scholz for doing this event and to all the blogger ladies I hung out with while I was there and to the girls who got me on the correct transport back to my Hotel!

Golden Renaissance with Simply Be.

It all happened on slightly grey day in October but that didn't matter because me and 3 other fabulous bloggers were there to make the place glow (or in my case get VERY shiny, forgot how boiling it is under lighting!) Of course there was lots of of planning involved mostly by the utterly fabulous team at Simply Be a huge thank you to them for thinking of me and letting me have this opportunity! You can check out the Simply Be website, blog and Facebook page for lots more snaps of us all together and solo! Simply be were also nice enough to pop me into the Doubletree Hilton right by Piccadilly station in Manchester the night before (it is sad to admit that I was overly excited because when I was 17 I once hunted down One Direction there?..)
I met my babes Rachel and Nancy in the bar (I've never met Nancy in person until then but lets just say we had a connection and I LOVE HER) Of course I love Rachel equally as much to!

Then bright an early the next morning we also met up with with adorable Allie as we were all bleary eyed due to the 7.30am set off time and bundled into a mini bus to make it too our wonderful location where we were all united as the awesome foursome when the complete babe  Betty Pamper joined us! The MUA and hair stylists were amazing listening to what our usual looks were or what we wanted to try, I am now slightly obsessed with fake eyelashes! We were put into our rather fabulous outfits and it was ready to shoot! Of course we were constantly primped and primed so we looked right in each shot, I was worried I'd look overly awkward as I'm far more used to being behind the camera on shoots like this not in front of them but thankfully the photographer was a doll and called me sweetpea and somehow got me to naturally smile in the pictures!

Before I begin the mass of photographs below I just want to thank Simply Be again for the opportunity at letting me play model for the day and for letting me get the chance to spend some times with people I was already lucky enough to know and two new fabulous ladies I can now certainly class as friends!

Project D London for Simply Be.

Tunic: c/o Project D London for Simply Be. Leggings: Matalan. Flatforms: Next.

A few weeks back I was offered a chance to style a piece from Project D London for Simply Be
The beautiful collection by the babe that is Dannii Minogue and her dear friend Tabitha with 4 other lovely bloggers and of course we all said yes and choose the Rockafeller Print Tunic! I love a good challenge (even though I'm not the best at getting them up in time!) so it was awesome to see how we all styled it up in our own ways.

Unfortunately the sunshine has slightly ruined my outfit almost bleaching out my amazing glittery flatforms which I wore with the tunic to pick up on the amazing New York skyline on the bottom. I decided to style it up with my polka dot leggings from Matalan to add a little texture to the over all look, they help lift an otherwise almost all black outfit. Finished with a slick of Rimmel Apoclips in Big Bang and the outfit is finished to my style and comfort! I'd also love to wear this tunic with tights to give it another look. I found it a very slouchy shape but the slip under is quite fitted I got this in my usual size 20. This isn't my usual kind of shape but I really like it and I'm glad I stepped out of my clothing comfort zone a little and discovered this!

I really like a number of pieces in the Project D London Collaboration including the Carnegie Strappy Dress which I adore the delicate flower straps and Brooklyn Embroidered Cover Up Shrug which would look amazing with a plain tee and cute jeans and wedges, in fact the more I look at it the more I want it!

If you want to check out all the other lovely bloggers babes looks for this beautiful tunic you can see them below! (And of course you want to!)

Curvaceous Inc Launch.

I've been meaning to get these pictures up for what feels like forever! But as always everything else seems to have gotten on top of me! These pictures were taken by the lovely photographer for the night Tom Cotter.
It was a brilliant night and I think Curvaceous Inc will grow as a Magazine and I'm excited to see what the future holds for them! There is very few Magazines that show plus size women in positives lights so it's nice to add another one to the small selection.

The catwalk during the launch was amazing, mainly due to the smoking hot models and lush clothes! I developed so many crushes that night and wishing my legs went up to my ears to, of course having a mum who is 4'11 means my legs will never be past my knees! All the models were really lovely too and realised we followed each other on twitter! I turned up to meet Becky at her hotel so we could go together Sian was also staying at the same place and let me just say it was SO NICE to finally meet this girl! Total babe.  The lovely Naomi also joined us once she finished work, which was a pleasure as always!

I wore this cute dress from Simply Be (which I'll be reviewing soon) leather jacket from Dorothy Perkins. My trusty belt from Asos Curve, Matalan leggings and my beloved Primark flatforms, which I somehow managed to fall off just trying to get my train ticket out of the machine... I think that just proves that I will never be graceful! My lips were in Rimmel Apocolips Big Bang, amazing colour but when topped up began to bleed definitely need lip liner on when wearing this!
