I've had a blog hiatus that went on much longer than I wanted it to meaning so many wonderful things I've had to blog about like this stunning Carmen set from Elomi have been waiting to be seen. I will try and film a video or write a post as to why I've been away for so long and not as active on here as I used to be! Please ignore the messy background I'm still trying to find the perfect place to take my underwear review photos and I have a feeling my bedroom probably isn't it. Anyway onto the pretty lingerie! 

The lovely girls at Elomi sent me this set to try out as they know I tend to shy away from an unpadded cup and lighter coloured bra sets and you know what I absolutely love it. Normally if it's a lower rise knicker I tend to veto them right away but these ones are adorable, do I feel a little self conscious with my tummy, maybe? But ultimately do I also feel pretty damn cute in the photos, hell yeah! I'm wearing a 40E here which on one boob has a little access fabric as I'm currently fluctuating between my usual 38DD and an E. I went up in the back size because I was also finding my back bands a little too tight at the moment. (my body isn't currently on it's best behaviour!) The bottoms I'm wearing in their equivalent to a UK20 and they genuinely fit like a dream, it's so often I find the matching bottoms to bras uncomfortable but with these amazingly it isn't the case. For classic comfort and fit Elomi are always the first brand I'll go to and recommend to women when they ask you genuinely cannot go wrong! 

I decided to put on ALL the eyeliner and set my hair in what I'm hoping is a cute pin curl kind of look. Of course I also had to slick on my usual red lipstick! Hopefully this post has managed to fix my blogger block and I'll be updating more again, once I've got all my scheduled posts live!

BLOG SALE!

I'm having a HUGE BLOG SALE over on my facebook page! With lots of items still with tags on or just never worn. I'm wanting a quick turnaround so I can get everything posted out as soon as possible and free up some space in my life (and a few pennies in my pocket!)

All prices are extremely fair and majority are pretty low as I just want things out of my life and off to a better home! If they look creased it's probably because they are from be stored away for months on end.
All postage costs will be on each photo separately along with the price I'd like for it. Please do give me an offer and I'm happy to do a good deal if you're purchasing more than one piece!

Lovely Lace - Ninex Lingerie Review.

Bridget Black Lace Babydoll: c/o Ninex Lingerie.

 This is something in the past I'd shy away from because I don't own anything pretty to sleep or flounce around in (I don't think moomin bottoms and boyband tee count?) but when the lovely team at Ninex Lingerie contacted me to see if I'd like to review this adorable babydoll I just couldn't say no! I love anything with a pretty lace print and this is something else! I wish I could have gotten a nicer backdrop but this was the only place in the house I could find for now. 

It's wonderful to wear and really comfortable, I believe I sized up to a 22 (4xl) for this style and I'm glad I did as for nightwear I generally prefer it to skim over the body, which this does beautifully. As you can also see the bust and central lace panels are sheer so I popped on some minimal layers underneath, so there's no need to avert your eyes! Over all I utterly adore this piece and almost feel a little more grown up in this compared to my usual nightwear, so I decided to add some wave into my hair and a pretty flower and do a soft bronze smokey eye along with my usual red lip.

From shopping on the high street and taking a look online I know that pretty and well made (which with my sewing eye, I can see this is) is hard to come by and when you do finally hunt it down it can often cost a small fortune and particularly when you added plus sizes into the equation it is even more limited but this beautiful babydoll is only priced at £16.99 I couldn't quite believe how affordable everything on Ninex Lingerie is, I'm hoping I'll try a few more pieces in the future and I'm sure I'll be as impressed with them as I am with this lovely piece. :)

Sheer Shirts.

These are just a few snaps I found from primarks spring summer collection and I have to say there is so much I want to buy if it will fit me, now I know they now sell up to a size 20 but on some of there pieces it can be pretty hit and miss!

But I utterly love these shirts I've seen both in store and as much as I wish to buy both I think the gold buttons on the top of the polka dot shirt would annoy me as they don't actually do up they are just there to look all pretty not practical if your boobs are above a b cup as I'm sure it would most likely gape open. Though this doesn't stop me from planning too go and try it on in store next time I can justify buying more shirts.

Just a very quick post from me tonight to show I'm still alive and do plan to post about Plus London 2 which I attended at the weekend when I find some pics with me on, I basically forgot to use my camera, bad blogger I know! Also tonight I saw Chris Ramsey live and I have to say he is bloody hilarious as were all his warm up acts specially Carl Hutchinson his mate who had me crying I'm actually seeing him again tomorrow night so I will do a few posts on these as official Nandos (ooerrr) took some piccies of me and the girls all together!
