Currently Coveting - Nicky Rockets Rocket Rider Tee.

Now I haven't done a Currently Coveting post for what seems like FOREVER ( which it actually has been like over a year!) but I've been swooning over this Nicky Rockets Baseball tee ever since they launched them but unfortunately I have limited funds at the moment so when I have some spare dollar I will definitely be purchasing this adorable top. Though it is a little saucy so I may not be saving it for Sunday best... ;)

There are so many things I love about Nicky Rockets designs but mostly that they're wearable for everyone and I feel epically bad ass when I'm wearing the selection I have! They're also ran by an equally bad ass couple. You may recognise the fabulous lady as Betty from Pamper and Curves who is one of my favourite bloggers and someone I'm also lucky enough to call a dear friend and her frankly awesome Husband is Nicky Rockets.

Here's some super old photos of me in 3 of the 4/5 tees from Nicky that I own!

You can find Nicky on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and their full range here.

Pretty Me Retro?

Dress: c/o F+F at Tesco. Denim Jacket: M&Co. Scarf in hair: Vintage.

What seems like forever ago I was sent this darling dress from Tesco as unfortunately the original dress I opted for which was beautiful was tiny and when I managed to exchange it said dress was sold out! This dress is something I wouldn't normally go for as it's straight up and down and sleeveless but the pretty pastel colour and adorable detailing with the lace won me over! I love the colour and feel of the fabric it doesn't feel like that uncomfortable and slightly sweat material the lining is what seems to be cotton (YAY!) and it's something you could wear on the hottest day, quite like the last few days and still feel okay. Sleeveless is something I fear over as I'm always paranoid about my upper arms but this year I say no more! If it's warm I shall have them out as sometimes a misshapen cardigan can completely ruin an otherwise lovely outfit! Here I paired it with a denim jacket purely because I liked how it looked and when I took these it wasn't 26 degree's!

I felt like channelling my more retro look with this quirky scarf tied in my hair and a backcombed ponytail behind it. I've not done my hair like this for so long that I can't decide if it still suits me or not! Don't get me wrong I love the scarf in hair look but I'm not sure as to whether my heavy fringe now makes it a little too much. I finished the look with my usual red lipstick and I was good to go, I really hope you don't tire of my red lipstick obsession but I just feel right with a cherry coloured tiny on my lips! I decided to face my fears and wear this out in public... I did feel a little OTT for the supermarket but I didn't get too many odd looks so I may try this again!

Carnaby and Campbell.

What seems like forever ago The lovely people at Carnaby and Campbell got in contact to see if I'd like to try out a view of there pieces and how could I turn them down as they offer vintage inspired, select pieces of jewellery which are just up my street. In the upcoming year they also have a fair few exciting things to come which I cannot wait to see unfold! The pieces I was sent are the Rose Bouquet Cameo Necklace and the Boating Hat Ring both came very quickly and securely packaged which is always a lovely touch!

I utterly adore these pieces and are wonderful addictions to my Jewellery collection. I have a brooch in a similar style to the ring which is what initially drew me to it, it's full adjustable which is a great plus for someone like me who's fingers resemble the humble cocktail sausage! And well anything with a cameo is a winner for me, though this is a style I've never tried before but will from now on. After these two pieces were so lovely and very reasonably priced! (Ring £3 Necklace £5) I've had my eye on a few other pieces including the Golden Plume ring and Bangle and the Pocket Watch necklace!

Just a quick apology for my rough old face up there, I snapped these on my phone and I had no make up on! Another excuse being my photographer (read brother) is currently away and I try to usually use his snazzy camera for such detailed shots!

Make Them Dye.

MAKE THEM DYE
is a shirt collection of one of my friends from College and I thought these were so cool and the photographs just pretty awesome that I'd share them with you all!

There are four styles of Polo Shirt:- The Serpens Caput, Ursa Major, Mensa and finally my favourite of the collection the Draco. I think these would look brilliant with anything from skinny jeans to tucked into a midi skirt, as you can probably tell from my blog I love collard and the fully buttoned up style and I'm actually really tempted to get one and style it up so you could see how this would work on a plus size body and how I would work this.

At the moment these are the core pieces of the collection but my friend grace who creates these has more to add including Jumpers and snap backs. I've also been told that the next generation of this beautiful and original collection will also involve studs, we all know how much everyone loves them at the moment! You can get your hands on this from either the eBay shop or here, if you want to see more images the brand have a tumblr blog too and you can ever Like them on facebook!

Just so you know I haven't been paid for this or given one or anything I just did this because I genuinely like them and the girl who designed/created them!
