New Years Eve.

Now I may not be out partying this New Years (if I had been I would have been a major third wheel!) but it doesn't surely mean I can't dress up? I was lucky enough to be asked by navabi if I'd like to try out one of there party dresses for the festive season and I decided to give this stunning floor length number a go. Now I have to admit my photographs don't do this beauty justice! Unfortunately with being left with my old digital camera due to my brother moving away with his swanky camera I wasn't able to get pictures I was completely happy with but I just wanted to show you it anyway!

This is floor length and as I tower at a mere 5'2 it certainly drags along the floor, even with heels on which obviously means it's great for all you ladies who tower above me and lets be honest that's the majority! So this is something I can stand in and feel extremely glamorous and grown up but have to hold up to walk in. I've chosen to wear the fur collar as not only was it freezing when I was snapping these but this is also very low cut and I wanted to keep this post a 12A.

This dress is something the Rosie of this time last year wouldn't have gone for but I'm so glad I've developed my style and hope to up it another level in 2014. As cheesy as it sounds I can't wait for my blog to grow with me as I've had some utterly amazing opportunities in 2013 and I'm looking forward to jumping into 2014 and seeing where life takes me.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

These are just a selection of pictures from my lovely friend's party last night, unlike last years I was very, very sober though if it wasn't for my medication I probably wouldn't of been! I spent new years with some of the people I love dearly, all my friends. They all know I blog and tend to have sneaky reads from time to time! In fact the wonderful image of my friend Billy with his mouth open and posing was requested to go up in his slightly drunken state so lets hope hes see's it! I also put a picture in of one of my oldest friend Joe's 3 piece suit he wore, He's got some serious style I'm going to try and badger him next time he's home from Sandhurst to get some pictures of him to put up on here, he dresses so well! The only other pictures of him are from this party so long ago! My friend Becca in the grey dress had the cutest clutch ever so I got a full length shot of her by the tree. It's from Accesorize and was reduced from £22 to £12 I'm going to go and hunt it down for myself it's so beautiful.

This year with my outfit was a little more out of my comfort zone than what I would of worn a year ago! But who cares I actually felt fine, maybe even great in it! The bra under is a longline from Matalan, I actually love loads of there lingerie lately! I bought the top in the Next sales along with my shoes which I AM IN LOVE WITH and I've been praising them on twitter to! I paired them with a skater skirt from Asos and some tights. Then I wore my trusty red lip stain and matching it to my bra which you a little visible under the top, was that trashy matching them? You know what I don't care I loved it! This is a look I am definitely going to try again which mean you'll probably have lots more posts with visible bra being shown on purpose!

Finally I had to get into there downstairs shower and pretend I was singing into it because that is something I tend to do at house parties! I just realised how picture heavy this post is, I am so sorry but I loved to many of them not to include them! Hope you all had a lovely New Years Eve and Day!

Another Year Over and We're Still Together.

I thought I'd do a little post about everything this year, now unfortunately for me health wise it's been one of my worst years ever but for many other things it's been really amazing! In the selection of photo's above are just a few of the cool things I've done this year along with 4 outfits I quite liked! Of course I had to include Ed Sheeran in it as I did manage to see him live twice this year and successfully (in a only slightly stalkerish way) meet him once! I also got a tattoo, now if you have me on Twitter you'll know about it but I didn't actually do a blog post about getting it done, I was going to but it just never happened, that and it's a totally bitch to try and get a decent picture of! It's a small plus sign behind my year, I've also gone through a lot in the last year with everything and I needed something to remind me to stay being positive because if I get int a down period I fnd it incredibly hard to shake myself out of it, so that's why its there. 2012 was also the year for meeting so many new people especially bloggers, I've made some amazing new friends in the past year who I would now count as being some of the closest friends I have ( talking about you here dani!) 

I couldn't say if my style has changed drastically this year but its definitely evolved in many ways. I'd love to know if looking back at my style in 2011 what you think has changed from that in 2012 (other than me finally wearing the right sized bra, best thing I ever did was to get fitted!)  And finally I've decided that 2013 is for sure going to be my year, where I achieve things I've always wanted to how ever big or small and do what I want and what is right for me not what I think people would want me to do! I hope everyone else's 2013 will be epic as well!

New Years Eve.

So this is what I wore to bring in 2012 in style! I honestly had such a good night though I haven't drank so much in a long time it was pretty messy and I actually have very little recollection of anything that happened after midnight so obviously it was a good night! Though I have been told some of the things I did or said and have had texts today telling me I was brilliant and hilarious I know I obviously was making a big idiot out of myself but at least I have the drunk excuse (this time).


These are both new purchases and both in a size 16! ( I do realise its totally obvious that I am in fact not a size 16 and I'm actually a size 20) the top I bought before Christmas from Madame Rage online in the sale I adore this top but I wore it for the first time last night and a few of the buttons fell off so I'm going to change them for slightly more sturdy ones. It's a cropped style so its hard to tuck in but I somehow managed it for most of the night it also has lovely draping on the front and I genuinely just love it. The skirt was from Dorothy Perkins in the sale as I've been looking for a few skirts that can be worn for all different things. and this one can be dressed up or down and I can wear it high waisted and its still a really good length, the fabric is also pretty thick and feels comfortable and warm on. I finished the outfit off with my massive black heels (which I lasted all of five minutes in).


And lastly I thought I'd share with you a picture I always have to get taken when I go to house parties the obligatory singing into the shower head photo and as you can clearly see I was loving life right then!
