Galaxy Defenders Stay Forever.

I got sent this lovely galaxy print dress way back when by the lovely people at Label PR/Simply Be. It's something in the past I'd definitely shy away from it being a maxi dress and colourful but I adored the print so much I though it was worth a try! Surprisingly I really liked it on me, the only downsides being that it is to long but what else were flatforms made for! Also it's very snug under your arms I'm wearing my usual size which is a 20.

he fabric is comfortable and doesn't seem to crease much (which is a massive plus for me) and of course the print is insanely amazing, I've been obsessed with galaxy print for ages and I was just so happy to find something with it in a plus size store! I feel this could be dressed up or down but I quite like it for a more snazzy occasion, in fact I have a few weddings coming up in the not so distant future and I think this will work perfectly for one of them! When I took these pictures it was still really nippy so I paired it with an old bolero and added some detail to the waistband with this cute little belt.

I decided on something a little different when it came to my hair and make up, gone is my usual red lip and here it is replaced with Rimmel Apocolips in Stella which is a lovely almost pinky colour unfortunately it hasn't been picked up in the photographs. I decided to shove (technical term) my hair into a messy knot with some pieces framing my face, I don't tend to wear it up very often as I'm worried it makes my face even bigger but never mind I didn't call my twitter Rosieroundface for nothing! And yes my title is from McFly's classic Star Girl, I couldn't help myself!

Matalan Style Project.

This is the outfit I chose and styled for Matalan's monthly Style Project which is on there blog. The theme was Cyber Jam envision peplums, sequins, studs and space age inspired, from the upcoming Autumn/Winter collections now I'm sure if you've been a follow of my blog for awhile you'll know my style can be a little eclectic so this was definitely a challenge for me, that and the theme was primarily based in Matalan's Be Beau brand which only goes up to a size 18 and in the majority of clothing a size 20 but thankfully over sized is still very much in trend so I actually somehow got everything to fit really well!

I went for plenty of studs and metallic's accents to bring a more textured finish to the complete look. The jumper I really love specially with the detachable peter pan collar (you all know how much of a sucker I am for them). Though I'm actually wearing the jumper back to front so you can see the amazing galaxy print vest under it, and it wouldn't be anything space age without a bit of galaxy print would it now! The leggings I didn't really notice originally but my mum saw them and thought as my wardrobe staple is leggings that these would be a nice alternative and they are still a little different with the flash of PU down the side seams, these are also seriously thick meaning I can wear them as trousers too!

Okay so the shoes need a paragraph all of there own HOW AWESOME ARE THESE BABIES?! and for the princely sum of £14 not bad am I right. I was worried my feet would be to wide for them but surprisingly they are not, I also think they add a rocky edge to the look without being to OTT (meaning I can't walk in heels) so these stand out without me being crippled! The only accessories I added were the stud and pearl bracelet which was a bargain in the sale and the insanely spiky and amazing ring, which is a serious knuckle duster!

Galaxy Fox.

Dress (under tee): primark. Tee: topshop. Ring: primark men's.

I wasn't overly keen on these pictures but I thought I'd whack them up on the blog anyway as I adore this tee! I bought it in the Topshop sale at Christmas as I just love all there over sized tee's and they work on me as just loose styled normal tops so I don't really give a damn if there's not supposed to be for "me".

It's a dip dye effect around the whole bottom of the top and then the cute little fox is in a almost galaxy/milky way print. It's just so adorable and comfortable to wear I love how the sleeves are loose and easy to wear when its hot, I've also been known to layer a long sleeved top under it when it's cold. I wore this with a simple grey shirt dress from primark under because I'm sick of my denim skirt and I like the layered look. I also found this ring in primark for a pound, how awesome is that I've been looking for a moustache ring for ages but they've always been a bit pricey for me then comes along good old primark! I actually found this in the men's sections and I bought a large like I usually do with ring but its massive so I've wrapped masking tape around the back to stop it falling off. I only really bought it so I can put my hand to my face and find it overly amusing, which I do!

I really need to get my post up about last weeks underwear event, which was soo good may I add! I'm also going to another little thing tomorrow in Manchester which I'm looking forward to just hoping I'll bump into some bloggers I know and that I'm allowed to take pictures without much fuss! I have so many posts I want to do but I don't like posting more than one post a day, that's my little bit of O.C.D over it!
