Getting Shorty with Denim Boutique.

Levi Shorts: c/o Denim Boutique. Sunglasses: Specspost. T-Shirt: Clumsy Kate.

Well I have to say I never thought you'd get me in a pair of Levi Shorts yet thanks to Denim Boutique here I am! These are the style of shorts I just thought I'd not only never get my chubby body into but would also not suit me. Well it looks like I'll be eating my own hat as I absolutely love these for the summer! If you were wondering currently in the UK it is grey and raining but I did take these photos for the brief moment we had summer a few weeks ago!

The shorts I'm wearing are a UK22 as when it comes to traditional denim I tend to have to size up to get my belly into the waistband but then the bum is often a little too big as you can see here but it's not too obvious! These are definitely short shorts and not something I'd wander round my local down in but they will be perfect for when I'm on the beach in a few weeks (praying our UK holiday is warm enough!) The team over at Denim Boutique also sent me a darker wash pair which don't have the more distressed styling as these do which I'll be posting in the coming weeks as I styled those up slightly differently! I decided to wear my new Clumsy Kate top as I'm so in love with the print! As a heads up I'm wearing her largest size available and I'm a UK20 it does fit but it's not a loose t-shirt if that makes any sense?! She has loads of designs that are her own as well as some adorable jewellery too! If you like quirky trinkets and a retro style you'll love Clumsy Kate! I kept everything else simple with a slick of bright lipstick and my go to sunglasses (I know they're pretty much surgically attached to my face, saves me doing eye make up!) finishing with a black hair bow to give my hair a little something more.

The team over at Denim Boutique have offered my lovely readers 20% off and this is valid until the end of the year, how awesome is that?! Just quote "rosie" at the checkout!

Playsuit: Asos Curve. Hair Flower: Primark. Converse: Kurt Geiger. Satchel: Zatchels. Lipstick: Mac, Lady Danger.

I finally feel like I've gotten my blogging mojo back and I couldn't be happier in that respect! So here I am with another outfit post featuring an oldie but a goodie, I utterly love this playsuit but for some reason it only ever used to come out in the winter when I could wear it with tights but I've decided enough is enough and this summer I'm going to try and get more wear out of my playsuits sans tights! This last week I've been helping my old high school with their performance of Grease and I spent a whole say in a vest top with my arms out and nothing bad happened, so with this in mind I'm going try and get more flesh out (tastefully of course!)

I decided to go a little retro with a matte red lip, which is my lesser worn Lady Danger, I prefer this for sunny days as it's brighter than my staple Ruby Woo. the newest edition to this which I only got a week ago is this amazing satchel from Zatchels, I'll hopefully do a proper post on this soon but I just couldn't wait to show you! I actually visited their factory and head office in Leicester last year and I've been obsessed ever since after seeing how much goes into making them! So when they had the huge flash sale last week I decided to make an investment. My dad was actually nice enough to (massively) help me out with this so I could have the back straps added. I can't wait to pair this with all my circle skirts and pretty dresses! I also went with my fab red converse to tie all the look together.

Apologies about the dire state of my hair! It needs cutting desperately and I'm itching for a change but after my traumatic fringe trim experience of November 2013... I've been avoiding the hairdressers like the plague!

Playsuit: c/o Simply Be. Necklace Topshop. Lipstick: Brighton Rock by Topshop. Tights: Boots.

I've had this utterly amazing playsuit from Simply Be for quite some time now. I was originally sent this to wear to get my photograph taken for an article (Something I'm hoping will go ahead and I will be able to tell you about) but unfortunately dates got moved and this didn't arrive in time. However it's so amazing that I just had to show you all! I snapped these with my new camera which I am still getting the hang of so place bare with me if anything is a little out of focus or off centre.

Now this playsuit is to die for and it's true to size, I'm wearing a UK size 20 here. Due to my lack of height the waists on more fitted playsuits can often just be way off but this is almost perfect which is fabulous for me standing at 5'2. I adore the lace over lay on the long sleeve and just the over all love the romance of the flowers and tones throughout. There is one thing slightly less romantic about this though, it's almost impossible to get on by yourself, in fact in these pictures I don't have it zipped all the way but when I have it is a lovely fit. I have to stick a safety pin at the neck for these. I was home alone when I shot them so had no one to help me! I kept accessorising to a minimum with my beloved heart necklace from Topshop which is a current favourite and being worn in rotation with a few other pieces. I also thought I'd shake up my usual red lip for some colour popping pink hue and I have to say I really like it, just need to feel brave enough to wear it out!

It was insanely windy when I shot these so I couldn't not include a picture where my hairs blowing everywhere, and this was the nicest out of a selection similar! What I think is really important in photographs to me is that I'm having fun, though of course when I've got my Chronic Bitchface on you just never know! And yes I'm still all over The View lyrics after seeing them again a few weeks back with one of my favourite girls Elly, who's currently stuck at home ill, so if you're reading this I hope you feel better and I'll make you some broth(?!)
