Dress: c/o Voodoo Vixen (now available at Simply Be) Glasses: Jeepers Peepers Via Asos (reglazed at Specspost with my own prescription in). Boots: Simply Be (old)

Before I go into detail shall can I just say
I UTTERLY LOVE THIS DRESS, IT IS THE DRESS OF DREAMS.

The amazing team over at Voodoo Vixen sent me this dress after I saw it in the main range and fell in love!
They were sweet enough to pop me an email to let me know they were going to bring it into the plus size range and a few months later it landed on my door step and it's everything I imagined! Voodoo Vixen have resized a little and I definitely think it's for the better, I'm wearing a 2XL and at a UK20 I find it a perfect fit on my waist/tummy without being uncomfortable in any places at all. My only issue is the skirt is a little bit long for me but I am 5'2 and can easily take it up a little without any problem (this is just my personal choice as I like my skirts a little shorter nowadays but I'll also happily wear it as this length!) I also find that I don't need a petticoat under this dress and I personally wouldn't wish to add one as I feel the skirt of the dress is a lovely shape and not at all needed. FYI it has pocket that you can actually fit your hands in, I don't know why this excites me so much but it does!

Now lets talk about the neckline, isn't it just fabulous?! It's low cut enough to show a little cleavage if you want to but not so much that you feel like you're going to be tugging it up constantly.(which is something I'm often guilty of) There is a zip in this dress but I just pull it over my head as the fabric is rather stretch and just works really well. What  also thought was a nice touch is the belt and surprisingly it actually fits, unlike so many plus size dresses that come with belts that don't even go near! I finished the look with some Rockalily lipstick, half my hair up (though I may have preferred to wave my hair in the end, nevermind!) and my vintage reproduction frames which I picked up in the Asos sale and have reglazed at Specpost.

As you can see I've fallen head over heels with this dress and Voodoo Vixen in general! You can see the previous posts I've done on them here and here. Up next I've got another piece that matches this dress but I decided to do a separate post for it!

This dress is now available on Simply Be how great is that!?You can get it here now.

Sweet Treats with Love This Sunday.

Body: c/o Love This Sunday. Necklace: Custom made, Black Heart Creatives. Skirt: Matalan. Clutch: New Look. Bomber Jacket: Asos. Shoes: Mellissa (via, Asos)

I've always loved quirky swimsuits and body suits but thought they'd be something that I'd never really be able to wear and own as things like that can be few and far between when it comes to Plus Size but thanks to lovely little email from the babes over at Love This Sunday asking if I'd like to style up on of their pieces on the blog, I now know they go up to a 3XL which is what I'm wearing. However I could have easily sized down to a 2XL so its good to know these pieces are available in a similar size to a UK22/24. I eventually decided on this adorable Jelly Bean One Piece as they're one of my favourite sweets (though that list is longer than my arm!)

The Suit itself is a really soft fabric and when stretched it doesn't go white at all like so many do! Of course with it being scoop neck on the front and even lower at the back it doesn't really offer any bust support so I am wearing a bra under it in the photos (mostly because I didn't think an accidental nip slip wouldn't go down to well!) as it is still freezing here in the UK I decided to style it more of a bodysuit than a swimming costume so I decided to make the main focus the print and colour so kept the rest of my outfit black wearing a simple jersey skirt and cute bomber jacket. Then added my fabulous custom made "Chunky Yet Funky" necklace from Black Heat Creatives and Melissa Wedge Jellies to bring out the blues in the bodice and really make it pop. I couldn't resist adding my fun Milkshake Clutch from New Look which I picked up in their January sale to keep with the sweet treats theme! I can't wait to be able to style this up in the summer when the warmer weather arrives and wear it as a swimming costume as well!

There is a few other pieces from Love This Sunday I'm still lusting over including this Gummy Bear number which reminds me of Katy Perry's California Girls video and this French Fries piece
because who doesn't love chips?!

Pearls and Velvet.

Dress: c/o Pink Clove. Necklace: Collectif. Clutch: Next. Coat: Marisota (old)

The lovely team over at Pink Clove offered me the chance to choose an item from the website to show you guys how I'd style it up and initally I was drawn to a lovely animal print number, which no doubt you'll be seeing shortly on here as I bought it for myself after dreaming about it (that's when I know I NEED something!) but I ended up deciding up on this beautiful sweetheart neckline bardot velvet dress. Now I don't know about you but I utterly adore velvet during Autmn/Winter. It's warm but most importantly feels luxorious and adds that little bit of glamour to your life.

I decided to go pretty vintage with this look as I thought it would work really well with the dress particularly the neckline. When ordering things lately I've been sizing up now I'm not sure if it's that I've gained weight or sizing but with Pink Clove I fit the size 20 in their dresses perfectly and vast majority also have stretch so they certainly have some breathing room, to boot it's also a very comfortable dress so I could be in it all night without it irritating me. I haven't worn the coat pictured for nearly a year but I think it works really well with the rich colour of the dress and as it's still freezing it was definitely needed! Under the dress I popped on a petticoat to add a little more defiinition and shape to the skirt, added my reproduction pearls and cute playing card clutch bag I picked up in the Next sale and it's almost good to go. I finished with my usual simple face of mascara and a red lip to pull the outfit all together.

Prior to this dress I hadn't tried anything from Pink Clove but I've been so impressed that since then I've added 2 more pieces (via ASOS)  to my ever goaning wardrobe.
What have you tried from Pink Clove and loved?

Curvissa Blogger Challenge.

Clutch Bag: c/o Curvissa. Top: Pink Clove via Asos Curve. Boots: Evans (old). Jeans: Asos Curve. Necklace: cheap jewellery shop on Albert Dock, Liverpool.

It's time for a little blogger challenge with 4 other bloggers, Courtesy of Curvissa with this sweet little Ostrich Textured Clutch Bag.
I decided to style this up with something I generally massively shy away from and that is the humble jean/trouser. I just find it so difficult to find ones that fit me with without being to big on the bum but too small on the waist or just fall down constantly! So far this pair from Asos Curve (supposed to be ankle grazers but who am I kidding at 5'2 they're full length on me!) are doing okay, high waisted so they control my tummy in a little but not tight so the button digs in. In hindsight I think I would have preferred this beautiful drop with a plain circle skirt to make it a little more dressy and girly. I thought the clutch bag worked really well with this top as it brings out the Burgundy colour in the back ground of the floral print. I simply adore anything off the shoulder and this top will be perfect for the summer too, I sized up to a 22 in this so it would be looser and a little longer. what surprised me is that under the long frill it's actually off the shoulder sleeves!

I finished the look with this fabulous necklace I picked up at the weekend from a tacky and I mean that in the BEST WAY POSSIBLE jewellery shop which is in Albert Dock in Liverpool. They have so much bling and it's all covered in sparkles and big plastic jewels, I love it! I decided to pop my hair up (another rarity for me as I feel it can make my face look ever bigger) a size swept fringe and lashing of red lipstick and eyeliner to define my eyes.

Don't forget to take a look the 4 other lovelies posts to see how they styled the clutch bag!

Ditsy Prints with Scarlett and Jo.

Tunic: c/o Scarlett and Jo. Necklace: Topshop. Bag: Accessorize.

The lovely ladies over at Scarlett and Jo also sent me this pretty little tunic along with the Powerfit dress I reviewed here.  Unfortunately this specific tunic is no longer on the Evans site but was when I first drafted this post you can get the same style and cut but in this sweet feather print on this link.

As you can see this is a tunic but as I'm only 5'2 I can just get away with wearing it as a mini style dress and I actually really love it this way! The back is also a little like a dipped hem so it does completely cover your bum with length to space on me which is always a comforting thought! Now I'm a little more confident with my body I don't feel so worried about flashing my legs bare or in tights, so I plan to a lot more in the future! The fabric of this is in a stretch jersey and the most darling ditsy print which have a vintage flare to it of which you know I'm a huge fan of! Not only is this comfortable but it's also fits really well as in my experience all Scarlett and Jo pieces do. the 3/4 sleeve is something I also like on a dress as even though I'm more much confident than I used to be I do still feel a little self conscious over my arms so they're a lovely edition. However I don't tend to go for v neck pieces very often as I sometimes don't feel they really suit me but I'm surprised with how much I like this. I've also worn it a number of times as just a top tucked into a skirt with a vest top underneath. I just finished the look with a cute heart shaped necklace I got last year from Topshop and one of the coolest bags I own, I always seem to pick up a bag or two each year in the accessorise sale and this on is certainly a winner!

As you can see I've got nothing but glowing words for this lovely little tunic and honestly don't think I've ever had a bad word to say about a Scarlett and Jo piece they always come up trumps for me! So what are your favourite pieces from Scarlett & Jo's current collection?

Winter Pampering with Bonmarche.

Dressing gown, socks and hot water bottle: c/o Bonmarche.

The lovelies over at Bomarche sent me and a friend the most fabulous pamper and snugly goodies for over the Christmas period unfortunately due to my grandad being in hospital over the season we didn't get chance to have a girly night in and when we planned to do it my bestie ended up with the norovirus which as you know is extremely nasty. I have since then had a bug myself, so it seems everything was against us! I decided to have a little pamper myself so this post wouldn't be any further away from the holidays!

I ran myself a lovely bubble bath, something I rarely have so it must have been cold over the last few weeks for me to have them. (FYI just in case you were wondering I do shower daily..) took a lovely soak something since getting my tattoo I'd avoided initially so not to dry out my skin with the hot water, hence the knee selfie popped on a face mask, one I luckily didn't react to unlike the one I'd put on originally. I have annoyingly teenage skin and more blocked pores than I'd ever like to admit, I feel like I've tried all sorts and nothing really clears them fully so if you have any tips or go to products let me know! After my bath I wrapped up in some old school pjs and this fabulous dressing gown, which may be the softest one I've ever worn! (to the point I may have slept in it on occasion) partnered with the fluffiest socks my feet have ever been treated to wearing and a snugly hot water bottle. Lastly not forgetting my cup of decaf tea kindly brought up to my room by my mum and yes that is a One Direction mug (#FanGirlForLife).

I'm hoping my bestie will be up for a girly night very soon so I can show exactly what lovely things we had planned! Bonmarche were also nice enough to send my friend the same things as myself, just in different colours! What do you do for a little winter perk up or pampering?
