Christie Venice Swing Dress.

Dress: c/o Lindy Bop. Necklace: Charity Shop. Bag: Vintage (Charity Shop) Shoes: Evans. Hair Piece: Charity Shop.

I'm back with another lovely piece from Lindy Bop this time it's the Christie Venice off the shoulder dress and I'm utterly in love with it! Well I do love a good print and the darling venice scene is just to die for! I decided to style this in mind for a Wedding as this is what I was thinking of wearing it for (though I ended up wearing the Renee Twin Set which you can see in an a previous blog post!) I think this dress could be dressed down with a cute ballerina cardigan and some converse as well as being worn like I have here! In fact I'll probably wear it more dressed down as my day to day wardrobe is very casual!

Here I'm wearing a UK22 as I've mentioned before with Lindy Bop I tend to have to size up with their items in the past however with this dress as UK20 would have been a perfect fit, though here I have a little wiggle room which is nice if I'm going out to eat! I also find that this dress is just a little long for me but I could easily amend this and its only because I'm loving my circle skirts and swing dresses with higher hem lines! I'm finding Lindy Bops sizing a little confusing at the moment as some pieces I could size down with and others I've had to size up twice. Luckily I find swapping items with them really easyOther than the fabulous print I also adore the detailing on the Bardot shoulder, initially I hadn't seen the bows but I absolutely love them. If you haven't realised from seeing my blog pictures over the last year or so you'll know I'm obsessed with anything off or cold shouldered and this is no exception! I styled it with Vintage accessories that I've been lucky enough to pick up in Charity shops over the years, some simple dolly shoes and classic retro inspired make up.

Currently Coveting - Dolly and Dotty.

It's time for another Currently Coveting and lately I've seen that the adorable Vintage Reproduction company Dolly and Dotty have brought our some sweet as can be separates including the Gloria Bardot Top in an array of prints and this cute as a button cape which is available in red, black or white! I also couldn't resist including 3 of their dresses that I've been in love with since I first found out about the company! I may have to treat myself to the Poppy Shirt Swing dress when the warmer weather arrives as I think it'd be perfect in the summer!

One of the things I love about Dolly and Dotty is that their sizing seems to be very true to size! So often with vintage reproduction I've found they run small and I've had to size up at least once to a UK22 and when these brands often only go up to a UK24 it can mean some women can't wear the pieces (I mean in an ideal world they'd go up to at least a UK28/30 but that's for another blog post!) I've found Dolly and Dotty even be a little generous in some of their dress styles! So they are definitely worth a try and the pieces I've tried so far have worn really well considering how reasonable the prices are!

Have you tried anything from Dolly and Dotty?
