This is probably one of the more casual looks I've shown on my blog lately but I am certainly feeling it. With Christmas now being over (I'm genuinely gutted about it, I need more time I spent half of it tipsy or asleep!) I searching for comfortable clothes that I can still wear to work without looking like I've turned up in my Pyjamas and I think I've hit gold with this baseball style tunic from the team over at Lavitta sent across for me to style up. They also sent me this beautiful faux fur jacket which is so cosy without me feel massive and bundled up! I've actually worn the jacket with some of my dressier vintage inspired looks and it's so perfect. 

In the tunic I'm wearing a UK22 as I like them to be a little loose so I can wear them with leggings but I would have probably have been fine with my usual UK20 I love how this has the baseball style sleeves and the print is utterly lovely, initially I was a little worried that the pieces at Lavitta wouldn't suit me but I'm happy to say I love loads of their stuff! In the jacket I stayed with my usual size 20 as I don't like my jackets to be over sized as I feel if they're more fitted they'll sit on my figure better. I decided to style this up with some cute earmuffs which were an impulse buy from Primark and my glasses, which I never seem to wear on blog photos and I really should more as I need them all the time so I can actually see!

Label Lab at House of Fraser.

All I feel like I do is apologise for not blogging as much as I'd like to at the moment but I've been pulling extra hours at my new job as Christmas is always a crazy one! 

The lovely girls over at House of Fraser sent me this top and another in a similar style to try out and as I'm currently looking for comfortable but put together outfits for my job I knew these would be perfect for just that. So far in the colder months I've worn a long sleeved tee under these tops and either left them loose or usually with this confetti printed one I belt it. Here I'm wearing a UK22 which really I didn't need to size up at all as I'd say this one is very generous, I could have easily even sized down to a UK18. I do however still love the shape and style of this top particularly how it flows. Some of the detailing which I unfortunately struggled to photograph (but can be seen on my YouTube video!) are the exposed sections on the back which are similar to a key hole look on a garment, they'll lovely and I'm sure will be wonderful for keeping cooler in the summer months! 

I wanted the colours on the top to pop so kept the rest of my outfit muted. I however couldn't resist matching my lips to the deep rich purples on the print, I'm not sure if it works for me but make up is all about having fun anyway! The rose in my hair is also the newest edition to my hair flower collection and it's LOVE. I am a little unsure if I can fully pull it off for more than just special occasions as it's pretty huge but I don't care it's velvety and lovely! 

The other top they also sent me, which you'll see in a YouTube video very soon is also on sale! And what a bargain!? I've worn them so much already and they wash very well with no ironing or fussing, which for a lazy gal like myself is perfect. To see the full range of Plus Size at Label Lab click here.

Love Is Love.

This is just a quick post to show you what I wore while I was away on Holiday (I know it seems like forever ago now!) I was bit of a bad blogger while I was away and hardly took any photos of my outfits at all, even though I had my trusty photographer (older brother!) with us for the week! These were very quickly taken when we were visiting Woodbridge in Suffolk. We always try to go at least once while we're away as it has some brilliant charity shops and it's a pretty nice place to just wander around. 

As soon as I saw the Dom and Ink Collection at Rock on Ruby I knew I had to get at least one top from the collection and this one just spoke to me! I've known about Dom's illustrations for awhile and   I just adore them so when I saw there was a chance I could wear them emblazoned across my chest I had to snap at the chance! Here I'm wearing a XXL but it's actually much more generous than I expected it to be so I think I could even just get away with a L depending on how relaxed a fit you wanted, but I just love it so I don't care anyway! Dom also has a seriously awesome book out called Map My Style which is currently on offer and you can get it here! 

I'm currently also lusting over this "Lets Make Out" top and think it may JUST have to be my next purchase!

Lipstick Loving with Lovedrobe.

Before I type anything else I just want to say I LOVE THIS TOP/TUNIC! 

the print is my ultimate dream, I'm sure you're all aware by now that I'm more than a little addicted to lipstick and any print related to it and this is to die for. So when Lovedrobe asked if I'd like to review something from their site I knew it HAD to be this Lipstick print chiffon tunic. With it being chiffon I was worried that I'd get too warm in it as I'm just a really hot blooded person and always boiling but surprisingly for me this was fine! I decided to order a 22/24 as I wasn't sure on sizing and in the past I've usually had to wear a UK22 with Lovedrobe but I think I'd have gotten away with the 20 in this. However I do like it being more oversized so I can belt it and wear it with leggings. The sleeves are elasticated at the bottom with means you can roll them up like I have here or have them sitting on your lower arm. 

Here I've dressed it up more but I've also worn it with a scruffy pair of converse when I've been running errands so it's really versatile. I'm hoping to go out for drinks in Manchester soon with one of my old friends and I think this top would work perfectly with some wedges and a (p)leather jacket. If you can't tell I'm totally smitten with this and I will definitely be keeping an eye out on Lovedrobes website to see if they bring anymore super cute prints out! Footwear Woes with Evans Clothing.

I'm back with a new post for you in featuring footwear from Evans Clothing. They recently got in touch with me and asked if I'd be interested in working with them on a campaign about the problems us girls with wide feet often have and I snapped at the chance as I always struggle with shoes! I answered a questionnaire then I got to try a pair of shoes that would hopefully compete with my woes some of which were:

1. I genuinely have very wide feet, they remind me of a ducks.

2. Heels aren't really my friends, within ten minutes I'm usually crying.

3. I have a high instep so often straps across my feet won't work or will really cut in.

So Evans popped across these contrast scrappy heels. Which do include everything I tend to avoid in footwear. The low heel makes them easier to walk in mostly and I know from experience that Evans size 5EEE are pretty on point for me so they do fit well.  My only issues are that they do still cut in a little across my toes (however this is from first wear, When I wear them in around the house in fluffy socks I'm sure they'll be fine!) and the zip on the heel which makes them a dream to put on, no fiddly buckles(!) does however catch my ankle slightly, again though once worn in I don't think this would be any problem! I styled the shoes with my bardot top I created myself which was originally a skirt from the charity shop, my new lips clutch bag which was a birthday present from my babe Jess at college and the 3 lipstick necklace from one of my favourite jewellery designers Black Heart Creatives! P.S sorry for the lens smudge on my second photo, I really struggled getting snaps due to the sun though it does make it a nice change from blaming the rain!

Polka Dots and Poodles.

I took these photos far to long ago but with my massive graduate hand in and the after math of a weddings and my brother and his girlfriend staying for a week I've only just had the chance to sit down and finally write a blog post. Unfortunately I am pretty behind on posts and have an array of fabulous things to show you which I'm hoping to get posted over the next few weeks so please do bare with me. I'm a little refreshed and hopefully have my blogging mojo back!

This style of top is one of my favourites for summer, long enough to pair with leggings for a comfortable look but can equally be dressed up with denim and heels for a less casual look like I've done here. In this I sized up to a UK22 as I like them to be looser for the warm whether and it also means that the top would be longer on me making sure it covered my crotch for wearing with leggings! The back of the neck also have a really lovely scoop and tie at the back which I unfortunately couldn't master getting a decent photo of! I decided to finish the look by mixing prints in the form of this cute clutch back I picked up on sale at Asos (a bag I'll probably use for photos but rarely out as I like to carry a lot of crap around with me!), denim to break up the dark colours and cute hair and make up, which was from a shoot I did at HMS Vintage and can't WAIT to show you when I get a chance!

Stepping into AW with Rogers + Rogers at Matalan.

This is an outfit I wore for a day out to Manchester visiting a gallery for research and a cheeky bit of shopping with one of my girls from my degree the lovely Jess. Unfortunately I didn't snap any while we were out because we were having too much fun I forgot, bad blogger! Anyway as soon as I got home I decided to swap my comfy flats for these adorable shoes from Bait Footwear which I received from work for some upcoming events. Now they have the most adorable vintage style shoes but unfortunately for my wide feet I find there equivalent to a UK size 6 is a little snug on my flipper feet but as they say fashion is pain! 

What I really want to talk about is this lovely Animal print swing dress from the Rogers + Rogers range from Matalan which I was sent to review which is from the AW14 collection. This season they've really upped the game and there is so many pieces I long to have in my wardrobe but I finally settled on this adorable number as I knew it would be something that would work really well in my wardrobe. That and I just can't say no to a fabulous print! I have a major love for swing dresses, they're so comfortable, can be belted for a different look and just a style I really enjoy to wear and this one is no different! Here I'm wearing a UK20 and I always find the Rogers + Rogers range to be true to size. Another thing I'm loving about them is that the range goes from a UK18 to UK30 and I know a number of other plus size ranges within other stores can often stop at a UK24.

Chunky Yet Funky.

I know I don't like hot weather but I'm surprisingly missing the sunshine it makes my photos just a little bit more joyful alas I seemed to have chronic bitch face in the majority of photos I snapped of this outfit, so apologies. Also my Dads decided that we now have a greenhouse so I'm having to experiment with where I can take my photographs for the time being!

I've already worn this lots so I thought it was about time I posted about it! I tried this swing dress on at the Maristoa Pop up Shop and knew I would one day own it and luckily I now do! It's perfect for dressing up or down and I love picking out the colours of the birds with accessories, which as you can see I've done here with this fabulous over sized clutch (which I rarely use, tut tut!) and my insanely amazing custom made necklace by Black Heart Creatives!
