When I dance alone, I know I'll go Blame it on me.

Dress: c/o Scarlett and Jo. (P)leather jacket: Dorothy Perkins. Shoes: New Look. Heart necklace: Me and Zena.

I feel like it's been awhile since I used song lyrics for a blog title so I just couldn't resist using George Ezra's for the post as it's an album I've been listening to a fair bit lately. Scarlett and Jo were nice enough to pop this cute navy dress across to me a week or so ago but my easter has been a little crazy so I've unfortunately only just managed to get the photos up!

I decided to try and go a little rockier with this look as so often now I automatically style looks with a  vintage twist. Which of course I do love but it's nice to shake things up every now and then even if it's only a tiny bit! I sized up in this dress but there wasn't any need to as always with Scarlett and Jo it is true to size, this is something I do love about them I nearly always know that a size 20 is a perfect fit for me whereas with other companies I often jump up and down their size charts. The dress is a little long for me but being only 5'2 this is something I'm used to and can either alter myself if I really want to but with this I quite like the longer length. I paired this with my very old leather jacket and a pair of shoe boots I bought in the sale a new look over a year ago but very rarely wear. My heart necklace may be a nightmare to try and photograph but I just love it so much I couldn't resist wearing it with this dress. I've been a huge fan of Me and Zena since I saw them in a Sugar Magazine when I was a teenager and last year when I was at the clothes show I fell upon their stand with some fab reductions and couldn't resist making a cheeky purchase or two! (still wishing I'd bought more though!)

#DressUpWithGeorge - Part 2.

Dress: c/o George at Asda. Shoes: Mel by Melissa. Bag: Accessorize. Hair Flowers: Collectif and Crown and Glory.

So here's part 2 of my #DressUpWithGeorge challenge this time I decided to style it with different shades of blue and not my go to red. As you know from previous posts the Mel Shoes I'm wearing are a firm favourite but I often struggle to match them with pieces in my wardrobe and I wasn't sure they'd look right with the navy but by adding my Crown and Glory Navy, Turquoise and mint hair flowers I think it's helped tie all the colours together a little better!

I also tend to avoid curling my hair as I worry it makes my face look chubbier but I loved how big it was! I finished with some cute frilly socks and my accessorize camera bag! Part 3 will be up very soon where I make the dress a lot more casual!

George have got so many fabulous dresses in at the moment! You can see all their dresses here.

#DressUpWithGeorge - Part 1.

Dress: c/o George at Asda. Brooch: Blackheart Creatives. Shoes: Bait Footwear. Hair Flower: Claireabellas Closet.

When the lovelies over at George gave me the opportunity to style up one dress in three different ways I certainly jumped at the chance, I always love a challenge particularly when it involves pretty clothes. Originally I was going to put all the looks into one post but I've now decided to do this in three parts as I was really happy with the photos I've finally managed to take! This look was the last one I shot but I wanted to pop it up first as it's definitely my favourite! As you know from past posts I'm a little bit of a retro fan so when I saw that the dress came with the patent red belt I just knew I had to play to that and make it a little pin up inspired.

The top of this dress is actually a thick stretch jersey and the bottom is more like a cotton mix with no stretch. Its white and navy stripes which I think is fab in Spring/Summer as it can be less harsh as monochrome (though we all know I wear that ALL the time) I decided to style this with some matte red lips, I'm wearing one of the Loreal True Reds I believe. My cat eye glasses which are a firm favourite of mine to wear for events at work and my lovely red rose hair flower which I feel works with everything and absolutely love. On my feet I'm wearing an adorable pair of Bait shoes which I got through work and they look like heaven but hurt like hell. Maybe US sizing is different to the UK but these pinch my feet so badly which is such a shame as they are the pretty pair. I do have duck feet so maybe if you're feet aren't quite so wide you'd have no problem at all! I finished the look with my newest purchase from Blackheart Creatives which is this fab lipstick brooch, which is very similar to the custom necklace in my last post but once I saw it I just knew it had to be mine!

I hope you're looking forward to seeing my next two looks as much as I'm looking forward to showing you!

George have got so many fabulous dresses in at the moment that I just ordered myself these two this evening! You can see all their dresses here.

Nadia Aboulhosn X boohooPLUS.

Dress: c/o Boohoo. Necklace: Custom Made by Black Heart Creatives. Clutch and Shoes: New Look. Brogues: Clarks.

Now I don't know about you but I've been eagerly waiting for the Nadia Aboulhosn collection from Boohoo to hit the site after seeing sneak peak on social media what feels like forever ago. I love Nadia's style and how fearless (if that's the right term) she looks but it's something that probably isn't really very "me" so I was wondering if I'd find a piece that I knew would fit into my own personal style. Luckily when I got the Press Release through I saw that there were in fact a number of pieces that would work with my wardrobe including this crop top and off the shoulder zip dress. (albeit my confident one as I can be a little self conscious at times). The dress I choose seemed to sell out pretty quickly but there is still plenty of options online! And since getting my new laptop I haven't gotten my original link just yet! One of the things I love about Boohoo is that as a student they offer low price points meaning I can chop and change my look without my bank  account crying in pain. As as heads up I've also found them to do some pretty awesome sales as well, on top of the discount codes and offers they often have circulating around!

I styled this adorable dress with latest custom piece of jewellery from one of my favourite sites Black Heart Creatives. Every piece I've had from the lovelies I've worn with pride and always get complimented on, this giant lipstick necklace being no exception! My super fun clutch back from the New Look sale in January, I actually bought this to go with my final collection at uni in the summer but I couldn't resist also using it for blog purposes! I'm also toying with the idea of growing out my fringe, though I know by this time in a few weeks I'll have trimmed it because of it drying me mad!

What's your favourite piece from the Nadia X boohooPLUS collection?
