Anushka Set: c/o Elomi Lingerie. Kimono: c/o Yours Clothing (last season)

Here I am with another lingerie post for you, aren't you all lucky? After Elomi won best Lingerie at The Plus Size Awards they sent me the Anushka Half cup padded Bra and briefs as I attended with them but due to how crazy Christmas was I'm only just having chance to post these up to show you. I've been putting it off as I was worried these photos may not come across all that well but it's a beautiful lacy dare I say even pretty sexy set and I wanted to show you guys!

Half cup bra's are something I can't really say I've ever tried but I do love this one the padding is just right now so much I feel like it's just padding and no boob but not so little that I feel insecure about getting the dreaded nip on in this freezing weather! Here I'm wearing a 38DD and it fits well, I've never had an issue with sizing when it comes to Elomi and they were the first team to fit me so I knew what size my boobs actually were! (however my size does fluctuate depending on brand etc) what I particularly like about this set is that it feels grown up and snazzy to put on and flounce around in but it's also wearable, so I can actually wear this and it's comfortable! The full knickers aren't as high waisted as I normally like in a lingerie set but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked them on, here I'm wearing a UK20 in the briefs which I would say are true to size but don't have a lot of stretch in the fabric. As always the detailing with Elomi is also adorable, I decided to style this with rough/messy hair and a slick of ruby lipstick to match the underwear. I also went with the kimono to cover as I'm so pale I end up almost invisible with the white wall background!

I can't wait to see some of Elomi's upcoming pieces in person which you can see here. Including this utterly lovely Raquel set which I think gives off a stunning vintage vibe and would look beautiful on!

Nina Set: c/o Elomi Lingerie. Cardigan: Dorothy Perkins. Hair Flower: Claireabella's Closet.

Yes another lingerie post for you today and this one has been a long time coming! I took these photos what feels like forever ago but due to all sorts I've only just had chance to post about this darling set from Elomi. I also really wanted to get this up before The Plus Size Awards but I'm glad I didn't now as I'm happy to announce that they actually won best lingerie! Which was amazing and a huge celebration all round! I will be posting about the awards separately as soon as I can as it was amazing!

Normally I'm not an unpadded bra kind of girl. I just don't trust them, maybe it's the pure fear of potentially having some form of a nip slip but with the Nina I do feel a little more comfortable with it as the fabric is thicker. It also still gives me good shape under my tops and dresses where sometimes I worry I won't feel supported in an unpadded bra, with this though I don't feel like that which is always a good thing! Here I'm wearing a 38DD which has always been my size with Elomi every time I've been fitted by their lovely ladies. Another thing I love about this set is the knickers and that they're pretty big! I feel well covered as I do love a big pair of Bridget Jone knickers and these are comfy enough for me to wear all day without getting annoyed at them, which for me is a rarity!

I finished the look in a vintage style so hair flower, eyeliner and painted red lips which I think works well with the details on the underwear set (which initially I was worried may look a little mums but actually I love it now!) Over all a comfortable and cute set which I feel comfortable enough to wear most of the day, until I get in from work and run for my pjs!

Do You Want Curves With That?!

"Do you want curves with that?" tee: Nicky Rockets. Bra: Elomi Bijou c/o Bras Galore.
Bottoms: Elomi Bijou Shorts c/o Bras Galore. (all available in nude and pansy)

In the past few years I've began to feel comfortable with who I am, mostly thanks to finding the world of blogging and discovering an array of clothing and discovering my personal style. Of course I still have my hiccups from time to time particularly when it comes to feeling like I'm okay in swimwear or underwear but I'm now a little older and (sometimes) wiser I'm finally beginning to feel good in all aspects of my style and shape. So I'm hoping to get more posts up like this as I think well fitting foundations can completely change the shape of a garment you're wearing.

I was lucky enough to be contacted by Bras Garlore who were sweet enough to ask if I'd like to review anything from the site and of course I was completely spoilt for choice! I decided to go for something that I new I needed in my wardrobe which was a classic black bra. I choose this piece from Elomi not only because I know how fabulous there lingerie is already but also because it is functional as well as having pretty details like the bows and trim. I ordered a size 38E and a UK20 in the briefs and they all fit wonderfully!  The core sits flush against my chest in the right place and they're is no gaping on the cups but I also don't over spill them.I'd always recommend being fitted by someone prior to ordering online or having a go yourself so you can get the perfect style and shape for you. In the past I've found the ladies in Debenhems to be fabulous for fittings and listening properly to what you'd like. Ordering from Bras Galore was as easy as 1,2,3 as they're site has clear images along with it being relatively simply to navigate, they're also super helpful if you have any questions just pop them a tweet at @brasgalore and they'll be happy to help you!

I just wanted to quickly mention how FABULOUS Nicky Rockets tee's are! I now own four which I simply love to wear, this is one of the newer prints which I LOVE and thought would look awesome with this lingerie set. I finished the look with a slick of deep pink lip colour and a matching butterfly hair slide. I'd love to know what you think of the pieces and what are your favourites!
